Good morning all cloudy with a gentle breeze.
I've watched this video and the dog isn't aggressive at all.

So foggy this morning! Luckily, it is mild and the fog will lift this afternoon. I have some potting up to do, but that will wait until I can see the pots!
Husband is putting some finishing touches on a bathroom cabinet he is making for our remodel of the old, worn-out, and ghastly bath off the master bedroom.
    One must keep busy!

Bright and sunny this morning, but the wind made it very cold.
Played golf with a couple of friends, but we were stuck behind a four-ball of visitors. It was taking an age, as they couldn't keep it on the fairways. Nothing worse than hangin' about waiting to tee-off. So after playing three we cut cut out two holes as there was a gap. Didn't get held up so we finished in just over three hours.
Too cold to do anything in the garden.

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently 2°C and sunny.
Along with spring and yard chores comes sore backs, sore feet and sunburn. I am suffering from all three this morning!
It's going to be another beautiful day, so that means more yard work and probably more sore muscles tomorrow. What is that old saying ... no pain no gain? haha
Hoping for a seed order delivery today from Baker Creek. It was kind of a last minute order ... I was already done buying seeds but found a couple things that intrigued me.
I also have some tomato seedlings to transplant.
Have a great day all :)

Today is National Tartan Day, and our local classical radio station played Scotland the Brave, my favorite! Texas has a large population of Scots heritage, so why are we eating chicken fried steak and not haggis?
High winds again today, although balmy. I'll water the gardens and try to stay upwind of the water. If I don't, I won't need a shower tonight!

I have never heard of that holiday. But, what a good one. I had no idea there were so many Scots in TX. I would have never guessed.

Today there is more snow, wind and low temps so we spent the day at home. Cleaning anyone?
That’s what we did— cleaned. Now it is time for tea ‘n bikkies. I can almost imagine that I can actually see that the floor is clean. Chuckle. It is chucking sleet down here at the moment.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 5°C and sunny.
I'm a little sore today, but not too bad. I moved a bunch of firewood yesterday that was dumped on my mulch pile a few years back. I finally got tired of waiting for the boys to move it so I did it myself! Underneath I found that my mulch has pretty much turned to dirt, it looks like great compost! Now to decide where to put it.
A few things to do outside today, and I'm hoping to get my onions planted. Still waiting patiently for my seed order to arrive.
Have a great day all :)

Good Thursday morning all. Currently 3°C and clear. It's going to be a beautiful, summer like day today with a high of 21°C.
I am excited to get a load of soil delivered today! It will help keep me busy during our latest 'stay at home order' that happened to our entire province yesterday UGH

Over here we can meet in the garden with up to 6 people that doesn't include children. Next week can go into a pub if there's any left to open but we don't bother.

Coolish this morning in the mid-50s but no ripping wind! I'll bake some banana nut bread and after it's warmed up a bit outside, go out and install the tomato trellises.
Our new lawn tractor arrived yesterday, so hubby will be mowing, mowing, mowing. Our lawn will no longer look like a hay field! I was seriously considering getting two or three sheep. The cats would have loved to ride sheep around . . . .

Hi Jane, is a lawn tractor a ride-on mower? Oh, your man will have fun on that thing...and who knows, you may also like to take a turn on it. Ahhh, but the idea of sheep is also interesting. You may have been joking, but there are a number of things that you can do with sheep.
BTW, are you going to have to bale those massive grass clippings?;)

Sjoerd, a lawn tractor has removable deck so it is not just a mowing machine. One can tow a small wagon, tow a plowing attachment, and even spread manure. I doubt I'll be taking a turn on our new one. Before my husband retired, I mowed lawn, orchard area, barn lot, and behind the fence (having several feet of short grass is a grass fire barrier). Now I prefer to watch, not mow.
I know there are several things you can do with sheep, some of them legal.
The mower mulches, so I'm hoping we won't have bales of grass. If the mulcher can't handle it, want to grab a rake and pitch in?
