OMG Jane. The Bride and I almost fell out of our chairs with laughter at your sheep remark. Oh my word !
You know, it is your humour that has kept us going all these months.

Yeah, you can count on me to pitch-in. I’ll just send the Bride on over. I like mowing, and do it gladly. We only have three grass paths here, but I like it. When I was a whipper-snapper I used to go out and solicit yard work for pocket change enough to take out the birds.

Good Friday morning all. Currently 15° and overcast. I slept with the window open last night! I fell asleep listening to the toads and I slept amazing!
Today, if it doesn't rain, I will start moving the 5 yards of soil that were delivered yesterday. I will top up my raised beds that have dropped and topdress the gardens as well as fill some planters. It's almost as exciting as Christmas!
Have a great day all :)

You should have taken a piccy of that mountain of soil, Netty.

Good Saturday morning all. Currently 12°C and sunny. Another fabulous sleep with the window open!
This morning I am off to visit Dad, and then home to shovel soil. I'm going to try to get as much moved as I can because next week looks very rainy.
Have a great day all :)

Yes Netty, you are right about getting it shifted before the rains come. Good luck.

Oh gosh, I hope this will be a good day! We are going for our second Covid vaccines, and we've been warned about multiple side effects. I may just vegetate for the next couple of days, and try not to have "flu-like symptoms." I had the flu once, and it wasn't fun.
Hope all of you have a good day!

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 14°C and raining.
I moved a lot of soil yesterday, but didn't get it all done. I covered the remainder of the pile with a plastic tarp and will work on inside projects today. We need the rain badly!
I would like to get my tomatoes up-potted today, even though I will have to do it indoors.
Have a great day all :)

Good Sunday morning to you all! It is in the 50's here, but without a ripping wind, so I got the string on the pea trellises. All three cats seemed to think I needed help and supervision, so the stringing took a bit longer than anticipated. However, all that cat fur that was rubbed off on the hemp twine sure is decorative!

Don't worry too much all medications have side effects. You had the first one without anything happening? So you should be fine.
I had the Astra zenica one before it came about the blood clots but i was ok apart from a bit of a sore arm but that wasn't too bad.

Good morning all cloudy with light winds from the north Temp 1c had some snow showers but stopped now.
Just finished the first walks now just got to think what to do, can't do any gardening so that leaves just housework, back is aching a lot so might not do much, but gardening helps it if i don't over do it.

Good Monday morning all. Currently 9°C and raining.
I'm up bright and early to go to work. Probably not much I can do today because of the rain, but I can probably get the canna lillies and dahlias potted up and a few seed trays planted.
We needed rain so I'm not going to complain.
Have a great day all :)

Good Monday to you all! When you're retired, Mondays are wonderful days.
Logan, we had no side effects of the Covid booster shot. You were absolutely right.
Netty, if you get too much rain, feel free to send us the excess. I've been watering the gardens but it isn't the same as a good steady rain. Tomato and pepper transplants go into the garden today, so I'm doubly hoping for a good rain in the next couple of days.
