The Good Day All Thread

Good evening all it's been a warmer day so far.sunny and light winds from the east temp 11c.
No rain for a week or so and the ground is very dry.

 

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 6°C and cloudy.
Had a lovely visit with Dad yesterday, and then came home and did some cleaning. I'm hoping the weather clears a little today to get some work done outside.
Until then, I still have lots to do inside.

Not a lot happening today, weatherman calls for snow flurries today and overnight.
Winter just doesn't want to let go! I'll be puttering around inside today.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently -1°C and overcast. We had snow overnight!
As my luck would have it, my new windows have arrived and they are coming to install them today! Brrrr!
Spent an hour moving seedlings and plants to other rooms and shut the door. Hopefully it won't be too bad.

Good Thursday morning all. Currently -2°C and sunny. We had a little more snow overnight, and the winds are making it feel much colder.
My new windows are lovely! We have been getting a few new windows each year to make it a little easier on the bank account. We only have 4 left to do, and hope to do 2 more later this year. Always something in this old house!
I'm hoping it warms up enough outside today to get some work done out there.

@Netty glad that you like your new windows. We had ours done over a year ago and the patio doors and the front door, also replaced the glass unit in the porch. This year we replaced the door in the kitchen that leads into the garage but it has to be a fire door for safety. It's been great with the triple glazed window units don't get any condensation when it's cold outside and can't hear so much noise outside as well.

I'm up bright and early today because there is lots I want to do today!
The grass needs cutting, the dirt pile needs moving, there is firewood to stack, and the weeds are growing!
But first I want to have a visit with Dad.

Just washed my hair so not doing much apart from walking the boys and doing the dinner.

 

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 4°C and overcast. It has been raining, but should clear for this afternoon.
I had a lovely visit with Dad yesterday, and then I came home and starting picking up the tree trunks that were left in the ditches on our street after the hydro company trimmed some trees. They cut the trees and chip the branches and leave the big pieces for people to use for firewood. DH was talking to them to make sure it was OK to take them, but I told him he should have mentioned that they could dump their wood chips here too! haha By the time I stacked all that wood and cut the grass I was exhausted!
Today I'm going to up pot some tomato seedlings and hopefully the sun will come out later.

Haven't done much just did some watering and always phone our son on Sundays since the first lockdown.
This morning pulled my back just bending over to take my shoes off.
