Good Sunday morning all. Currently 17°C and sunny.
I got almost everything done on my list yesterday, except the weed eating and weeding the tomatoes. I put together the chairs and hopefully hubby will seal them.
Picked some garlic scapes this morning for my potato salad, and will pick the rest later.
Lots of little things to do today, so I hope to get them all done with a little time to relax later.
Have a great day all :)

Netty, your daily list sounds like my weekly list!
Today I cleaned the dried garlic that has been hanging in the barn, and brought it into the kitchen. I took a look at the squash, and picked a zucchini. Thankfully, the crooknecks have slowed down!
Tonight for dinner is a mixed vegetable casserole (biremi) and grilled chicken. I have the vegetables on the counter coming to room temperature. I've found they cook better and more evenly if not just out of the refrigerator.

Good Monday morning all. Currently 18°C and raining. We need the rain badly and I needed a day off work haha
I'm going to try to get housework done while it rains, there are so many things that need a good cleaning around here.
Have a great day all :)

Good afternoon all not doing much today, seems that I've strained myself last Saturday and getting pain when having a wee. I don't think that it's a UTI but drinking a lot just incase. It feels a bit better today but it comes back a bit when I start to do things so just trying to rest for a few days.
Today is cloudy with a gentle breeze from the north east temp 16c

Logan, I hope you feel better very soon! Rest up--whatever needs doing will wait for you.
We had blessed rain last night, and it is cool enough (72 degrees) to have the house open and give the AC a rest. Since the garden is a bit damp, I cleaned house and made more hummingbird syrup. For such tiny birds they sure eat a lot!

Thank You @marlingardener it got so bad that i thought that it might be a UTI so got in touch with the Dr. and got 3 days worth of antibiotics. For that don't need to go to the surgery spoke to him on the phone. Just hope that it's enough, if not have to have some more.
Hummingbirds they must be very pretty and so small, I think that they drink a lot because all of that flapping of the wings.
Today it's been sunny intervals with a moderate breeze from the north north west temp 15c.
Next week Wimbledon starts, don't watch it much these days. One year it rained all the time for the first week and the second week had to catch up.

Good Tuesday afternoon all. Currently 17°C and sunny.
I had a great day at work, and then headed to a clients house. They made my day as they told me they would be paying me $5 MORE an hour!
It feels good to be appreciated!
Time to make dinner and water the garden.
Have a great day all :)

Gee Netty, we all appreciate you here on the Stew, but don't expect checks in the mail! Your client certainly has a high opinion of your work and expresses it appropriately. Congratulations!:like:

Good Wednesday afternoon all. Currently 21°C and sunny. It feels like the perfect day today.
Home from work and feeling lazy. I need to water the garden and all the pots/planters but I just feel drained. I'll have a little rest and then get to it.
    We need rain badly.

Good morning! I picked a half dozen tomatoes, three squash, and had Timi the cat helping and supervising. She loves to do figure eights around my ankles while I'm trying to walk!
I'm out of ties, so I'll take Mart's suggestion and hit the thrift store for otherwise unusable tee shirts. I called and they always have a "rag bag" of tees that have been donated, but aren't in any condition to be worn and are sent off to a ragpicker. I'll pick up two or three, give them a dollar, and we'll all be happy.

Good Friday afternoon all. Currently 19°C and raining.
I spent a good part of my work day watering and deadheading plants. At quitting time (2:30) it started raining and it hasn't stopped. It going to be raining a good part of the weekend and I couldn't be happier!
My Baker Creek Seed order came today. I ordered the new catalog so I thought I would order some seeds for next season as well. I think this is the earliest I have ever ordered seeds for an upcoming season haha If I keep this up I will need to enlarge the garden!
    Have a great evening :)

Dry and cloudy. The long periodsd of rain will have done the garden a lot of good and hopefully will reduce my water bills. Just a bit of dead-heading of the last rhodo to flower and a prune of the unwanted shoots of the wisteria on the pergola over the French windows. A bit of shopping to do then the afternoon will be free for me to watch the tennis.
