Good Tuesday morning all. Currently 14°C and overcast. Mother Nature will be bringing rain today.
I have the day off, and I'm headed to the rink with DD this morning. She's hasn't stepped foot on the ice since the end of March thanks to Covid, but today Summer programming begins!
After that is over I'm headed to a clients IF it's not raining.
I picked the first basked of green beans yesterday. That will be the next canning project.
I have discovered voles in my garden, eating my cucumbers. I have placed 3 traps out there ... lets see how smart they are!

Good Tuesday afternoon all it's been raining a bit but not a lot. Just had some dog food delivered so put that away and picked some blueberries.

 

Good Wednesday afternoon all. Currently 24°C and sunny.
Another busy day! Up at 6, walked the dog, then came home and cleaned a little. Took DD to the rink and then went to work. Worked until 5pm and then went grocery shopping. Came home, put away groceries and then walked the dog while my DD baked some pizzas. Ate dinner, made lunches for tomorrow, then went out to the garden to harvest some green beans and check my traps. Caught one giant vole (YAY!!) and reset the trap. Came in and sat down and now I'm feeling so tired that I'm ready for bed and its only 7:15! I think I'm going to go with it and lay down and watch my vlogs. Tomorrow is another busy day!

Good Thursday afternoon all. Currently 17°C and overcast. It rained most of the day and so instead of gardening at work I was painting.
Oil change and then home to hunt hornworms - I found 2. I'm going to buy myself a black light flashlight so I can find them easier.
One more day and my weekend begins

 

We have Saturday all week--one of the advantages of being retired! But, I do wish all you hard-working folks a good Saturday that is relaxing and enjoyable.
Formula One qualifying in Hungary is on, so my husband is watching and keeping me updated on drivers and teams (if it isn't Ferrari, I don't care a fig) while I make deviled eggs and a pasta salad. I'd rather cook than watch cars nip around a convoluted race course! Unless, of course, it's a Ferrari . . . .

 

Good Saturday evening all. I just phoned one of my brothers that I haven't seen or spoken to for a couple of years. He told me that 2 of our Aunties had passed away this year. Haven't seen them for 40 years so it didn't bother me much.

good Sunday morning all. Currently 15°C and overcast.G
Had a nice visit with Dad yesterday and on the way home I stopped in at a garden center that had a clearance sale on. Bought myself a Granny Smith Apple tree, a butter fly bush, bluebeard and another perennial I don't have already. I have no idea where to plant them, but that's the fun of it haha I did get the apple tree planted yesterday, so today I'll have to find a home for the others. Came home and got the grass cut just in time for the rain to begin.
Was out in the garden this morning and harvested some black currents. Now I need to figure out what to do with them!

Good Thursday afternoon all. Currently 29°C and sunny.
It sure was hot for working today! Spent a lot of time on the mower today, which made it a bit more bearable. No rain in the forecast until Saturday so it looks like I'll be dragging hoses.
Looking forward to my BBQ'd steak dinner tonight!

Good Friday afternoon all. Currently 29°C and sunny. Its humid too, so its really hot!
Had another busy day at work, but now its my weekend! I'm going to start with a cold beverage, a dog walk, and then a trip to the garden to finally pick all the beans. Im sure there are other things to pick too, so I'll take my time. Sargent loves the garden too so he'll happily come along. I have a patio umbrella that I set up for him, he can lay in the shade and watch me.
