We are, @marlingardener, but it's a small house. Glad you had a nice day despite the heat.

Today is Saturday. Woke up to 19°C, cloudy and news of a mass shooting in Oslo. Hate crime. Shooter targeted a bar people gathered at to have fun before the parade today. Parade is cancelled. The hater won. This is our second mass shooting in 11 years. Today will not be a good day for most Norwegians. I sincerely hope the rest of you will have a much better Saturday.

Good Saturday morning all. Currently 21°C and sunny. Its going to be another hot and humid day. I'll try to get my hard work done outside before it gets too bad. This reminded me that I haven't called to get our pool filled yet! I'll call today and hopefully they can come next weekend. I've harvested most of my radishes, and now I have to go out and harvest the rest of the spinach and the garlic scapes. Grass to cut, and the side of the driveway needs trimming too. Always a full day around here!
Have a great day all :)

Droopy, I read of the shooting in Oslo. Dreadful! Two such events in 11 years, sad so sad. Haters and fear mongers seem to win more often than they lose.
Relaxing day here--it's torrid out so I'm picking and watering early, then staying inside playing in the kitchen. Waldorf salad, anyone?

@Droopy - I'm so sorry that your home is unwell right now and sharing each other's space. I hope the sunshine brings a little fresh air relif. Oslo is terrible...A heavy burden for the compassionate and good hearts in the world. We were very sad to hear of this and our Canadian hearts are with Norways right now.

It's just awful. At least this time they didn't target children like the last time.

Thank you! I think I'm too slow to catch covid. I've been around so many positive cases, and never got it, so I'm hopeful this time around too.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 20°C and sunny. Its going to be another hot one!
I've got my left foot soaking in a tub ... cut the bottom of my foot yesterday and it's all full of dirt. Feels better already, but I'll keep soaking it as long as I'm at my desk.
I did manage to get most of the grass cut and the side of the driveway trimmed yesterday. Also ended up (finally!) cleaning out my garden shed. Hubby also cleaned out the tool shed and today he has a full truckload for the recycling facility! Today is watering and deadheading day in the back flower beds.
Have a great day all :)

It's evening already, 17°C and raining hard. Partly cloudy today. Good, it would have been too hot otherwise. I went for a long bikeride to smell the rowan trees and the elderberry trees by the road, and to listen to chirping birds. Checked the graves and noted what needs to be done there. Fell asleep on the couch outside on the veranda afterwards. That was so nice I'm wondering if I should bring my bedclothes out there and just spend the night. Nothing like the air after a rainshower. Hope you all have a good Sunday.

Tuesday morning, 14°C and cloudy. Forecast says warmer and sunny for the next three-four days but I'm told to be careful whith what we do since we have a house full of covid. All five of us got it this time. The first two tested out of it, so it's just youngest, my husband and me feeling slightly out of sorts. No official restrictions anymore, but we're not going shopping or going anywhere at all for fear that we might infect people with low immunity. Mother-in-law tested positive yesterday. Not our fault. Eldest and husband also got it, but they're hours away so not our fault either. Might do some weeding and dead-heading, but slowly-slowly.

I'm probably going for an early afternoon nap on the sofa outside again today, and hopefully the cats that like to visit will leave me alone this time. They like to lie down on top of me, and that's not always very comfortable.

Have a lovely Tuesday all, hopefully without any covid.

Good Tuesday afternoon all. Currently 23°C and sunny. It was the perfect summer day today ... not too hot, not humid, not windy, just perfect! I'm going to do a rain dance for tomorrow though, as we need rain badly! We are off to watch my grandsons T-ball game again shortly. What a cute team to watch :)

Good Thursday afternoon all. Currently 29°C and sunny. Thankfully there is a good breeze!
Another long day at work today, preparing the grounds for a wedding tomorrow.
I'm waiting patiently for the temperature to drop so I can go out and water my veggie garden. Things are looking good out there ... lots of food to be harvested SOON!
Have a great day all :)

Good Saturday morning all. Currently 12°C and sunny.
I was up bright and early as usual. I've walked the dog, set up the pool for fill up, and now I'm having my coffee and its 7am. Water truck will be here at 9 to fill the pool.
We'll be watching my grandsons for a few hours so I'll be setting up the trampoline next. They love that thing lol
Lots of grass to cut, weeds to pull and lots of plants to water.
Have a great day all :)

It's Sunday, and Formula One is racing at Silverstone, UK. My hopes are now threefold--Ferrari, Red Bull, and now Mercedes since Hamilton is British. That's why I like Abu Dabi--no local driver!
Hotter than Hades today, so we have done the necessities outside, and will be staying in the rest of the day. Cold supper tonight. I'm something of a luddite (quill pens worked fine, why invent a ballpoint pen?) but I do appreciate air conditioning!

Good Monday morning all, and Happy Independence Day to all my American Friends!
Its currently 14°C and mostly cloudy. I've got the day off work today, due to working our Canada Day holiday last Friday. Forgotten how much I like regular week days off!
Probably just going to putter in the gardens today, a nice peaceful day with my dog.
Have a great day all :)
