Good Morning Folks -- Got back home last evening. Had a great trip. It was hot in the Atlanta, GA, area too! I did get out and walk this morning but it was very muggy. We got some rain while I was gone (maybe I should leave town more often). Hope you all have a great day!

Good morning all. I am having a hard time deciding if this weather is real or if I am dreaming. If it is a dream, it is a good dream. No more rain since Monday but the temps are only in the low 90's....that is 10-15 degrees lower than just a week ago!!! And it has been in the 60's overnight....that is 20-25 degrees lower than a week ago!!!!

Sooo, while the dream lasts I am going out into the garden and begin the cleanup. There are so many dead plants out there that really have to come up, there are some like the Black-eyed Susans that come back every year that I will just cut way back and hope for the best.

And, and, and my dwarf hollyhocks have been reseeding and growing. There are some that are almost two feet tall and may bloom again next month.

Good morning! We slept late. I checked the site earlier and then went out with Chance so she could show me the yard. She likes to check the other backyard first thing and expects me to be ready as soon as she is ready. She sits by the computer and whines and gives little yips until I give up and go out with her. As soon as we've checked everything we can come in and have breakfast. It's a beautiful morning, no clouds in sight. I should go water some things before it gets to hot. Have a nice day! Dooley

Good Morning! We were up early because we were getting our carpets cleaned today. But we are having misty showers today. We don't get any accumulation but the humidity is high. We cancelled the carpet clening until it is sunny and lower humidity.

We went to the local farm today as the sun was shining. Had a great day, the kids rode ponies, played with lambs, scratched the backs of sweaty piglets and enjoyed a magic show. A good day was had by all! Tomorrow.....I AM GARDENING!

    Gooooood Morning all.
Still in the 60's first thing in the morning and beautiful. Even the 90's in the afternoons are bearable when the day starts out this nice.

The sun is a lot further south in the sky now, the shadows have a look of Autumn to them, the weather forecast doesn't include any more 100+ temps, not even many high 90's, in fact there is another cool front coming our way this weekend taking the high temps back down to the mid to upper 80's. After this past summer it just all sounds too good to last. But I will be enjoying it while it does.

Very overcast here in Essex, cool, but still a little humid. Took the kids for their lunch and did a spot of pre-school shopping so they look smart to go back next Tuesday. Have a nice day!

Good morning to all! Lovely clear day here after three days of clouds and two of much-needed and appreciated sprinkles. The rising morning sun is shining in the windows and I'm rotating all my little houseplants as they reeeeach over towards it. Looks like a lovely last August day.

It is clear, sunny and cool here today. It was 64 when I got up and the high forecast is for 74. This is my kind of weather.

Good morning! I think I cut too many weeds yesterday. My muscles are protesting. It rained during the night but it's nice now. Clouds are building again though. More rain? Dooley
