    Good morning everyone
    I'm a newbie and just looking around your forum. I'm from SC and love gardening. I gre up on a farm and growing a vegetable garden is a must for me. I started with plants and flowers a few years back and must say it made a huge difference in my yard. Anyway, I just wanted to say good morning to y'all. Hope everyone has a nice day.

    Good morning all and it is going to be a very good day for me. Randy has been in Chicago since Sunday for meetings about the project he is working on and he comes home early this afternoon.

    I am very glad to see the backside of August. Our electricity bill came yesterday and like a fool I opened it just to see what it was. I usually do not open those bills until it is time to pay them, but curiosity got the better of me.

    Come on Autumn, the sooner the better

    Morning you all.
    The triple digit temps just had to take one last shot at us yesterday so we reached 100.
    Amanda will be spending most the weekend at the Anime convention downtown. And I have a list of chores for Randy, so this really will be a "labor day weekend"
    (in the US the first Monday of September is Labor Day)

    Good morning! I got up early and watered the plants in pots and the new mums. I went out to do yard patrol with Chance but she was too busy chasing the neighbor away. The neighbor had his endloader out moving things around. According to Chance, he was making too much noise with that thing. Mostly sunny here but clouds building up all around. Thunderstorms predicted for this afternoon and evening. That's in the forecast for the next 10 days. Dooley

    Tis blowing a gale here in Essex today. Got to the allotment and filled a bucket with ripe tomatos and filled my trug with courgettes! This rain has certainly got things growing again. We are having chilli for tea using some of the allotment goodies. Our fave! Tomorrow we have my darlings brother, his wife and their darling son Thomas coming for a visit, so today has had a fair amount of housework crammed into it! Hope you all have a great weekend!

    Good morning all, had a socialable evening yesterday (some gnome brew was involved :rolleyes:) so apologies if my fingers type faster then my brain today :D

    We're promised a bad Sunday, Monday and Tuesday here in Malmö so lots of thunder and wind is expected. But sometimes they get it wrong don't they :D
