Here the issue is avian flu. Entire flocks have been decimated. I think (not certain of this) that eggs sold in WA state have to be cage free. That was in today's newspaper. Maybe those are more likely to catch avian flu? I don't know.

Rufus loves pig ears. His main treat is rotisserie chicken that I cut up and make into jerky in the dehydrator. Some people here also like eating that.

Me too Sjoerd. I wonder how it's transmitted? I assume respiratory but maybe they have infected dander or droppings that desiccate and are inhale-able. Beats me.
