The thaw is here and it’s raining finally :)
No wind just a nice consistent rain.

Good Friday morning all. Currently -4°C and mostly cloudy.
Yesterday was a lovely day, and I was able to do all my errands, shopping and driving without worry. What a nice change!
Today, weatherman says that temperatures are going above the freezing mark, so I'm hoping to spend part of the day helping snow down off the roofs around here. I have bought myself a 'roof rake' so this should make it easy. Hoping to avoid large ice dams and icicles in my gutters.
Very happy that today is finally the last day of January. Is it just me or has this been the longest month EVER?!
Have a great day all :)

Good Saturday morning all. Currently -16°C and clear. It was such a mild day yesterday, and it will be mild again today so it seems odd that it was so cold overnight.
I'm so glad that January is finally over! We are heading to the rink shortly, but not before my dog walk. Thunder and I were up very early, and we've been waiting for daylight to head out. I have noticed an increase in daylight and todays sunrise is at 7:34am, and sunset is at 5:25pm. We are gaining a few minutes every day!
Tomorrow is groundhog day, and I hope he makes a good choice haha
Have a great day all :)

Netty— yes, I am also easily noticing the days getting longer. When I go back home at tye end of the day now it is still light.
Good luck tomorrow when the big rodent comes out to play.
