Good morning! dr and I walked outside looking at plants. I have 15 out of 40 glads up. Only two hosta and a darn cat was sleeping on one. I put some big rocks around it. I keep chasing that cat but it's a sunny spot in the morning and behind a fence. Maybe I need to make the fence higher. Sometimes we put wobbly chicken wire on the top of a fence. They don't like to go over it. But, it's a decorative front fence so I didn't want to do it there. Oh, well! Waiting for kids to show up. Dooley

Good Thursday Morning all. Back to work. Nice weather today and tomorrow. Then rain on my days off. I see a pattern developing here.

Gooood aftermorning all, the birds are singing and the sky is cloudless. Yes you guessed it, another day to remember weather-wise.

Good Thursday morning all. Currently sitting at 2°C and raining. The miserable weather got me a day off work :)
I've been having problems with my internet connection for 2 days, but it seems OK this morning. I have a lot of catching up to do!
    Have a great day all!

Good morning from the North Woods. All is white again, the tail of the storm that "missed" us yesterday, whippet through last night, and left about 2 inches and a bunch of wind. This seems to be the winter that won't end. Keeping the faith, I say good morning to all.

Morning all, sunny and 66 out. Guess I need to get off the computer and outside if I plan on getting anything done out there. The forecast is for some possibly heaving storms tomorrow. I hope so, our watersupply lakes are still too low to get us thru another hot summer.

Good article Frank. I have told my family that is the kind of send off I want, skip the funeral tho, just have the party and send me flying.

    Hello everyone.
Well, I think someone has hijacked spring and replaced it with winter. We had several cm. of wet, soggy snow overnight and during the day. I really hoping the weather will get a bit warmer in the next few days. I've got daffodils and tulips poking through the ground. Last weekend I potted up a lot of canna root and other plant roots to give them a head start on the growing season. We can't plant outside till about mid May.
    Enjoy the evening.

A very good morning all at GardenStew. Birds are singing a happy tune this morning despite it being Friday the 13th. I doubt birds are superstitious ;)

Going to a friend's 25th birthday this evening so a bit of gift-buying is in order (not my favourite thing in the world to do).

Hello on this wet Friday morning. Looks like more of the rain/snow mixture is coming down. The birds are busy in the garden ... hunting for bugs and worms, building their nests in the birdhouses or evergreen trees. I'll be doing more of my inside planting on the weekend.
    Have a good day.
