Good Morning from the city, Bahh. Wish I was back in the woods. Rainy and cold, about 42º, may get up to 50º today. We got the 12 yard dumpster a little over ½ full yesterday, may get it full today, and may need another. It's hard throwing some of that stuff away, but need to bite the bullet and just do it. In the 4th day of a bad cold, doesn't seem to be letting up.

Glenda give Heather hugs from all of us, she is certainly having a hard time.

Not working out back today. It is 73 degrees at 11 and going up so I guess I should catch up with laundry and dishes. May even clean house some....but then maybe not.

Good morning! Got an early start and went to a couple yard sales. Nothing much to buy though. Hope Heather recovers sooner. Dooley

Good morning. I haven't been on the computer much this past week or so. I've got the most horrible head cold and it just won't shift. By Friday my voice was vanishing. I'm so glad the weekend is here and I can rest and hopefully recover.
    Enjoy the weekend everyone.

Good Saturday morning all. A very wet morning here and 8°C. I had a very busy week and suffered from a stomach bug yesterday. I feel a bit better this morning but still not quite right. I think I will take it easy today.
Sending big hugs to Heather. Hope she is feeling better today and will be able to bring little Logan home soon.

Good Morning all, off for the weekend, strange but true. I will have every other weekend off until things change, which they very often do at WalMart. No plans, just staying home.

Hello and good morning! Sorry I've had to be scarce, and here when the garden is blooming all over the place - my dad passed away rather suddenly on Easter and I've had to be over on Maui dealing with his estate and business, just so you know it isn't because I've forgotten all of you!

Cloudy and mild here, promises to be a beautiful afternoon.

I have a large group of people coming from the church for a sort of mini-retreat at my house today, so I must get cleaning and go snip some of that lovely lilac and bluebells that are blooming now for a vase!

Good late morning all. I got up on time and roughly two hours ago I found out that the MayDay party we are going to this evening is a potluck....that's the trouble with letting the men pass information around they don't think of the details. Had to figure out what to make then go to the grocery store. Pasta is cooking for a salad now.

Prim, so sorry to hear about your Dad's passing.

Aw thanks all - in truth, he died very happy... he was watching a polo game (as he liked to do most Sundays) and fell asleep in his car and just didn't wake up. He was surrounded by friends and doing what he liked best, and didn't suffer. You can't beat that. We're placing him in the veteren's memorial there in July, right before the big parade they have each year - he was the one who founded those parades, years ago. He was very loved.

But if anyone would like to buy a bbq-woodstoves-hotsauce business in Maui, let me know. :p *That's* the hard part for us right now...
