Afternoon all. Hot and muggy here and spittin' rain once in a while. We are in for more heavy storms beginning tomorrow afternoon and going thru Wed.

Spring temps seemed to have left us in a hurry. We were enjoying nice comfy 70's then one day last week the temp went into the mid-80's and has been there every day since then.

Good Sunday morning all! Currently sitting at 5°C and sunny. Another beautiful day ahead, but I'm wondering when the nights will warm up. I'm getting tired of bringing my seedlings in and out every day! I got a lot of work done outside yesterday but there is still a lot to do. My veggie garden is rototilled and ready to go, grass has been cut, gardens weeded, trees trimmed. Still wondering if some of my plants didn't make it thru the winter...my Carolina Wisteria still seems lifeless and there is no sign of my Cardinal Flower. But the Chinese Lanterns sure have taken off...it has sent out new shoots 4 feet out in every direction!
Have a great day all :)

Good Morning all, from the city. 54º and sunny this AM, Birds are singing children are laughing and playing, it's a great way to start the day. Looks like the terrible storms that ripped through Kansas, and Nebraska Yesterday are slowly working their way this way. It's likely that they will be less severe when they get here, as the sources of energy for the storm are getting used up along the way. Hope so anyway.

Wow had our first thunderstorm yesterday afternoon, and just came in from cleaning front entry, and all flowers and especially lawn appear very happy indeed! posted a pic. on photo gallery after seeing my first magnolia is opening, soon tree will be in full bloom...good chance for more storms today, which means lawn will grow again and mowing is in my near future once again. Have a nice day, I intend too! [IMG][/img]

Morning all, looks like the bad storms will stay away today because of the heat cap over us. That will give the yard a chance to dry a bit. But with the temp at 76 degrees and the humidity at 76 percent, I am not going to work outside.

Good Monday morning to all-if there is such a thing. Back to the "Big City" again(horrors) to do a little business. All we did was work all weekend. :( I will go to my favorite nursery this morning and try to finish my plant shopping :) And then I will plant. :-D

Good aftermorning all, slightly overcast here in Malmö but I'm not complaining. Watched a couple of movies yesterday on a lazy Sunday evening. Watched Ghost Rider and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, both enjoyable and recommended flicks.

Good Morning everyone -- 60 degrees and partly cloudy. Walked this morning and it was very breezy so it quite pleasant. Still need rain. Weatherman says we are 15" behind now. Was watching the news and all the destruction from the tornado in Kansas--very bad. Hope everyone has a pleasant day.
