A very good aftermorning all. Weather-wise I'm glad to report something different, it's BUCKETING down. I guess all that wet weather was building up somewhere just waiting to unleash itself. Makes for a 'refreshing' change.

    Current temps: 11 deg C / 52 deg F

    Have a top Tuesday!

Morning all. Almost 7:30 and the temp this morning is already 68 degrees, just another hot and muggy day ahead.
Thunderstorms did roll over us about 2 a.m. and left 3/4 inch of rain on the yard. Didn't expect anything until Thurs so that was a nice surprise.

What a beautiful morning! Woke up at 5, for no particular reason, and figured I might as well get up. Gorgeous sunrise, lovely clear day - I'm making coffee then I'm out to move some pea-gravel before I start in on the kids homeschooling lessons. I hope everyone's day is as pretty as this one.

And SusieQ - I love your dancing sunshine!

Good morning it is partly cloudy but about 60. A small chance for a shower this afternoon. We have dental appointments this afternoon and then we need to do some yard work. Wannabe

Good Morning/afternoon everyone -- Still is morning, I'm just a little later--10:21 a.m. my time. Got up and walked fairly early. 54 degrees and sunny right now. It's been cooler and no humidity yesterday or today, so it's been very pleasant. Hope you all enjoy your day.

Morning all....once again the worst of the nighttime storms moved north of us. We did get some strong little off-shoots from the momma storm tho. My yard got another 1.25 inches of rain for a total yesterday of 2 inches.
And we had the kind of thunder that sounds like Thor is standing in your livingroom banging two huge metal buildings together... not rumbling thunder from one side of the sky to the other but one gigantic metalic sounding bang.

Good morning! Sunny and high in upper 80's today. And Saturday it was cold and snowing. Go figure! We had thunderstorms in our forecast for next Monday and Tuesday but they've been removed and sun is predicted. We don't usually get rain in May but we didn't have much spring rain so it was hopeful. Now, we probably won't get rain until the monsoons start in July if they do. Off to work on turning the little backyard into patio. Dooley

    Happy Thursday everyone,

Sub-tropical storm Andrea has dropped south of our coast now,
so the gusting winds of the past 3 days have settled down.
I hope that the folks in GA and FL get the rain they need from this system
to help put out some of the wildfires that are burning there.

It's a very pleasant morning, 64°F/18C and clear,
expecting a high of about 73°F/23°C this afternoon.

We picked up just about an inch of much-needed ran over these last few days,
not nearly enough to make up our deficit, but very helpful, just the same. :-D
