Good morning! I've been out planting flowers that I got for Mother's Day. All the seeds that I planted came up and the birds promply ate the little plants. So, dr bought me a lot of six paks of plants. We bought a canopy that goes up and down easy for the little back yard instead of trying to build something this year. dr has it up and tied so the wind won't blow it away to some neighbors yard. We still have to get river rock and dr wants to build Chance a new deck for under the grape vine. But, for today we are done. Work 6-9 pm. Dooley

Good Morning/afternoon everyone - 64 and partly cloudy this morning. Hoping for some rain--maybe tomorrow--we'll see. Things are very dry. Hope our friends in Florida and Georgia get much needed rain to help with those fires.

Morning all. No major traveling today, yipee!!
Probably no working in the yard, I am way behind in so many other things what with being gone 10 hours each of the last three days.

Good morning! Sunny today with temps in upper 80's. No rain in sight. Got all my plants finished yesterday. No more!! Today, I am going to trim my rosemary back from the sidewalk. It's trying to block the gate. We do need to get in and out. I'm going to put some in pots and try to get it to root. I had a good start last fall but they were feeling a little neglected over the winter and died. They do root so I'll try again. Nothing else planned but a little watering. Dooley

A bright and jolly good morning to all! Had some cold clouds blow through over the weekend, but now it is sunny and lovely outside. I got three butterfly bushes planted yesterday, doing the other three today (or hoping to, anyway). Everything is blooming and so far my veggies are still alive, so things are looking up.

Good Morning All. Got a little badly needed rain here last night and beautiful weather on the way. Pulled a tick out of my head sitting here.(Gross) Looks to be a good year for them. I picked up my book and one was on it, one was on my dress collar waiting for me and one was on the wall waiting for an unsuspecting passerby. I write on the calender when one actually bites me so I will remember if they cause a problem later. Maybe I should wear a tick collar around my neck.

Good morning from the city. Cold and rain most of the day yesterday. Sunny and cool this AM. Working on dumpster #2 didn't make much progress yesterday, need to have a good day to day. Plants and seeds arrived for the vegetable garden at the lake, I can hear them begging to be planted. Need to finish up here and get back home as soon as I can.

Good morning/afternoon everyone -- 63 and cloudy this morning. Did have some light rain (very light) earlier but it has stopped now. Rain is in the forecast so hopefully we'll get some more. Hope you all have a nice day.

Morning all, a cool front moved thru last evening and dropped the temps down to a much more comfy level.
Our high yesterday was 90 but the humidity was low so it was barely tolerable.
Supposed to not even reach 80 today and we have a 10-15 mph breeze. Regaining control over weeds after being unable to get out there for 4 days is my goal today and probably tomorrow too.
