    'nuther wonderfully cool morning here too.

    Actually got Randy out in the yard yesterday. The electric company had to run a new service line from the pole in the alley to our house last week (another casualty of the hot and dry summer)they had to do some tree triming to get it done so we got to clean up after them by dragging all those limbs out to the curb for the city to pick up.

    This morning I am putting some Chrysanthemums in the ground out back that ought to put some color in the garden for Autumn

    Good morning! It is sunny and lovely here, though we could do with a little rain like many other folks... I am on my way to give my little green leafy friends a good deep watering before we are out of town for the next week and a half (Maui, yay!) - we have a friend housesitting, but she has mobility issues so I doubt she'll be watering my yard, sigh... I just hope it everybody will still be alive when I get back.

    Other than that, looking good - See all of you when I get back!

    Nice morning here. Maybe more rain this weekend.

    On the agenda today is finally cooking the pumpkins now that the pickles and pear jam are done. And getting started on the wall of shutters between the living room and what used to be the garage. I'll post pictures on the Interior Design forum when we are done. I just hope it comes out looking somewhat similar to what I have in my mind that it should look like. But you know how that goes sometimes. :-?

    Sunshiny day in New Orleans. It will be a good test for the simple solar heater I built yesterday to heat the swimming pool. If it works, I will either make it larger (a black hose coiled on a piece of plywood) or install a solar panel on the roof. If I do that, I shall do away with the current water heater as well. That should save a few bucks.

    It's gonna be hot again in New Orleans, but now, just after 6am, it is pleasant. The AC is already working, so that means it is above 80 degrees. And that's pleasant???

    Good Morning all. Another weekend at work, but I will have Monday and Tuesday off. It is a nice overcast morning here, but I don't think it is going to turn into rain, which is badly needed.
