Hi everyone, [IMG] It's 77°F/25°C at the beach today and clear as can be . . .
    . . .
the rain clouds don't seem to remember where I live.

It's great to have a moment to sit down and check in at the Stew
:-D it seems like such a long time since I could.
Hubby and I had more company last week, some dear old friends,
which was a pleasure, but a total disruption of the usual routines. [IMG]

I've missed you all, and I'm hopelessly behind reading posts here,
and the garden is screaming for my attention, too.
Not to mention all the other daily stuff that's been neglected. [IMG]

Trying to get caught up is rather overwhelming,
I think I'll just take my cup of tea outside
and sit in my comfy chair and have a good "think-about-it" ;) instead.

Good morning! It's cool here this morning but it's going up, up, up. The desert doesn't hold the heat at night like the cities so it does cool off after dark. Wish the house cooled a little faster but toward morning I'm feeling the difference. Watered everything good yesterday so will wait and water in the morning. Housework this morning, I think. Good Morning. It is 79 but going up to 90 today. We have rain in the forecast but I'm not to hopeful. I received a call from my brother yesterday, he is a long haul truck driver. He was in Wisconsin but will be coming near here this afternoon. He will call and we will go over to the truck stop and visit and have coffee while he takes a short break.I haven't seen him for awile so it will be nice. You all have a good day. Wannabe

G'morning all, really fresh morning here in Malmö. Hope it doesn't get too warm though.

I watched a great movie called The Prestige on DVD last night and I'd highly recommend it if you are looking for something a little different than the traditional popcorn flick.

Good Morning from the North Woods of Wisconsin. Storms passed through yesterday, and we got some needed rain. Picked up about an inch over a couple hours. The heat, humid air and storms have moved east and left us with cool crisp breezy air this morning. 59º this morning at 7:00 going up to 74º later. Bright sun earlier, gave way to cloudy skies just now, but I think that it will be a nice sunny day.

Morning all, sunny and warm as usual here. I have a few new plants to pot up so I will have to suffer thru a few minutes of the heat and humidity to do that. Our heat index for the last few days has been 100+.

Gainesville, about 60 miles north of us, got 8 inches of rain in about two hours. Sherman, the other city with flooding up north of us, is where I grew up.
Randy, being a Ham Radio Operator, went up after work to help with communications during the search and rescue efforts in Gainesville. He said there is not much of the city that hasn't been damaged or destroyed. He said at sundown they changed from a 'search and rescue' operation to a 'recovery' operation and the cadaver dogs would be brought in first thing this morning.

Good Morning/afternoon everyone - 75 this morning and cloudy. Rain started a little while ago, but has already stopped. Hope more is on the way for today because no more is in the forecast for the rest of the week. Sorry to see all the flooding and deaths in Texas.

Good Morning all, wish we would see a little rain our way, but the weatherman says it triple digits all week for us. Dooly I hear you. The nights cool down nicely, but it's 8 am and I have the air going already. Hope you all have a great day.

Good morning! I'm headed out to drag the hose around and water before it gets too hot. Would you believe it's only 65 deg. It's going up to 102 deg though so don't start cheering yet. No rain in sight. Have a good day, now. Dooley

I guess what we were getting moved on up.I heard on the news last night how horrible it is up there. It was tragic
to hear of the little girl slipped from her moms hands as passing her to the rescuers and she drowned. My heart goes out to this mom.Everyone of the deaths are tragic but this was unbearable to even think about.
