    Good morning all.
We ended up having a bright sunny and hot day yesterday afterall. There apparently was some sort of weather system out in the Gulf of Mexico that sucked all the moisture meant to be heading our way and causing rain all day long, back into the Gulf instead.
Our city was scrambling to reschedule the food and games vendors for the July 4th celebration that they had canceled on Tuesday. They must have gotten everyone to come back since that part of town was closed off and packed with people.

Today we are back in the rain cycle.

Good Morning! It was the hottest day of the year so far. Today will be 106 so that's near as hot. Guess what though, there's isolated thunderstorms in the forecast for Saturday and Sunday. I bet they go around us though. That is what normally happens. It will only be 101 tomorrow so it's going to cool off for awhile. dooley

over 65, headed to 89, nice breeze at the moment. Been scrambling to soak everything this morning. My waterlily bloomed today, will try to get a pic posted later. Phoenix was never intended for human habitation, Dan! Head up into the mountains if you can!

You are right. No one should live in Phoenix. We are at 4,200 ft approx. and Dan is at 5,000 ft so it's a wee bit (about 10-15 deg) better than Phoenix. dooley

    Good Morningtime!
Gonna be 88F and very humid today. Taking off part of the day to get the yard and house ready for a cook out at our place tomorrow.
We are putting in a pond and waterfall in the backyard...so I will be working on that as well. What a mess we are making while doing it!

Good morning! Not quite so hot today but just as humid. Thunderstorms are predicted for the next three afternoons. There was a huge dust storm between us and work yesterday but it was just building when we went through. Lots of people lost electricity and some was still out when we were coming home. Dooley
