Good morning! It's sunny here today. It's been gray and cloudy for a couple of weeks. Chance has been depressed by the weather and just laying around sleeping. Today she is out chasing the birds out of the yard and enjoying the day.
We have friends coming for lunch. I called yesterday to wish him a happy birthday and ended up inviting them for lunch. We were going to go to eat somewhere but since they are driving one and a half hours to get here we decided to just make lunch here. Nothing special, deli chicken, salads, fruit and blueberry muffins. Homemade blueberry muffins with giant Oregon blueberries. Yum! dooley

    Morning all.
What time is lunch Dooley? Sounds really delicious, especially the blueberry muffins.

'Nuther scorcher here. Got watering done yesterday evening and early this morning....so much needs to be done out there. I am just hoping it won't be impossible to get caught up next month when the temps cool down.

Good Morning everyone -- Do I have to say it -- HOT
Heard on the radio the temp was 83 already at 6:00...does that give you any hint of what today will be like here. Poor kids--they start back to school today--hope the air conditioning is working. My workers came at 6:30 this morning--hot for them too! Hope you all have a good day and stay cool whatever you do.

Good morning! No rain here today. Beautiful sunshine but not too hot yet. Weeds are growing about a foot a day. I thought I had a day off on Friday, but I have an early doctor appointment. Yuck! Had a good time with our friends yesterday. Then, work. Busy as usual. dooley

Sorry Frank, but I have a hard time sympathizing. :D It was 98 degrees here today with a THI (Temperature Humidity Index, that's what it feels like) of 105 degrees. I went to the local coffee shop this afternoon and had a cup of iced coffee and a cigar outside in the breeze and shade. It was quite comfortable. I'm looking forward to the days when it gets back down to a nice, cool 70 degrees. That should be sometime in November. Of course, when it hits 40 degrees here I'll drag out the fleece lined jacket and gloves.

    Gooood morning all at GardenStew.

I completely understand Evil :D Maybe if I tweak my figures (like doubling them) it would be better?

    Current temps: 40 deg C / 136 deg F (spoiler: not really it's actually 20 deg C / 68 deg F)

Good Morning everyone -- 81 degree now and it looks like another HOT steamy day-- they are saying 103. Yesterday was 101 and that's not including the heat index. Workers are here already. Have to be up on the roof so they get an early start. Hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning! It's hot and dry again. Need to start watering again. I'm off to the doctor this morning and then to see if we can find any yard sales. Nothing much listed in the paper that look promising. Have a nice day. dooley

Morning all. Didn't officially hit 100 yesterday, but did feel like 105 outside. A little watering was all I could get done and not even that today because it is hotter than yesterday.

I will find out about the heat tomorrow tho, Lisa and her family are having a moving sale that we are helping them with.
