They are! She was quite insistent that I follow her outside, she wanted to be pet in the sunshine among flower pots, not in the kitchen. Our front deck has a bench built into one side of it and faces East, so it's very nice for mornings. You should try it too!

Frank you know I will take you up on that weather offer...send it on over.

Moving day yesterday was 102. Today just might be the beginning of a cooling trend, upper 90's instead of 100+ :-D

Good Morning everyone .....Yipes....84 at 5:30 this morning. Going to be another scorcher today 105 (not including heat index), so I won't be popping out for long today. Looking forward to the weekend when they say we may get down to the 90's. Really need a shower or two also.

Ooohhh, how do you Breathe in that kind of hot?? It's 52 and lightly overcast here, we are supposed to be getting some rain roll through that's loosely connected somehow with the hurricane in Hawaii. Hope we never get one here, I'll stick with volcanos any day!

I agree! Volcanoes are nice and predictable - they don't hop around the country and you can tell when they are going to go off.

Lovely and overcast, almost tropical feeling so far - Yesterday was pretty warm, so it's a nice break. Hope everyone has a good morning!

Good morning to you all. It is overcast and 77 with a few stray showers moving through. Thunderstorms are forecast for this afternoon and evening, it would be nice as it is so dry and dusty. We really need to do some shopping but it is not to cool down until tomorrow and Saturday so we will wait and see. Wannabe

Let's hire a cargo ship, Frank. I've got some surplus weather too.

Good morning! 15 deg C, windy, a bit of rain, hopefully it will get better. I have a hedge that needs trimming.

I want to use the electric cutter, but the cord gets shorter by a metre every time I try it...

Goood morning all, bit of a undecided day so far it seems "Shall I rain, shall I not?".

    Current temps: 18 deg C / 64 deg F
Currently listening to: Some Danish radio station, can't translate the name :)

    Have a fun Friday.

Good Morning everyone -- 82 this morning when I walked. 104 yesterday and suppose to be 100-102 today -- but tomorrow we are suppose to cool off and only be in the 90's. We really need some rain and there may be some scattered showers this weekend -- it's so dry and with this heat it's worse. Here it is Friday, so have a great weekend.

Morning all, the streak of 100+ temps has apparently been broken yesterday was only 97 :-D

We actually got about an inch of rain last evening. The remnants of Tropical Depression Erin came on shore on the Texas Gulf coast and up this way. Down along the coast they got around 7 inches.
Now we are waiting to see if Hurricane Dean will hit land next week in Mexico or around the Houston area.

Good Morning from the North Woods. It was great to wake up this morning in my bedroom here at home. Will miss being with the kids, but sure love it here. And, the kids will be here for a week on Saturday. The humidity is gone, and the clean air, what a difference. Bright and sunny this AM, 55° @ 8:00 going up to mid 70s. Trees are starting to turn, will go out today and get some photos to post.
