Good afternoon all at GardenStew. Overcast here and rainy a lot of the time. Not great weather for festival-goers here. Maybe will go to watch some live music this evening but it's weather dependant I'm afraid.

    Current temps: 20 deg C / 68 deg F
Currently listening to: RTE Radio 1 Ireland

    Enjoy your Thursday.

Morning all. Still hot and dry here.
Wooohoooo, Autumnal Equinox is one month from today. Not that it means autumn weather will actually arrive at that time or even at any time during the month that follows the equinox but I can hope. Actually I would prefer it arrive in just over a week when August comes to an end.

Good morning! It was so nice to get on the ol' mower and annihilate the dandelions yesterday. Was still too damp to do much in the large area I preserve as prairie, but I noticed there are a bunch of wildflowers having a second go at blooming so I'll let them cycle.
50 and very clear, on it's way to 80+

Good Afternoon! Sunny and 75F right now.
Broke in my stone path this morning for watering the lawn. No mud on my feet! I realized how sad I'm going to be when we move in February and leave all my hard work and TLC behind... but I'll get to start anew and that's awesome!

Good morning, drizzle and 15 deg C today. There goes my planned back-garden-action-day. I'll trade it for a sort-and-give-away-toys-day. My mother insists on me accompanying her to see one of her gardening friends. The garden is really something, so, I might do that too.

Good afternoon all Stewbies. Overcast here in Malmö. Decided against the festival last night but tonight is a certainty (rain permitting of course).

Lexxi I didn't realise you are moving in February, how exciting!

Morning all. Still in the upper 90's around here for most of the next week or so. But I did hear the weatherman say that by the end of August/first of Sept the day times highs would be in the upper 80's.
That means the early morning temp will probably be in the low 70's and I can get out in the garden to start getting caught up.

Good morning! Sunny and hot today. dr got up early and trimmed the walnut tree hanging over the alley. The neighbor was complaining about it. He's always complaining about something. We may do some shopping later but first I need something to eat. Yard sales? The ones in the paper didn't look too promising. We need to get something for legs to finish the quilt frame. Lots of things that could be done, but Hey it's my day off so why should I do anything. dooley

Good Morning all -- A little late ths morning, but it's still morning at my house. Another hot one here 100-101 and yesterday was 103. I haven't even been including the heat index. Tomorrow they say we will be under 100 and maybe by the end of next week in the lower 90's -- looking forward to cooler weather that's for sure. Hope you all have a good one.

Good morning all! 57 and overcast, the weatherman says it'll get into the 80's today but I'm not feeling it at the moment! Gotta make a grocery-store run, bleah. Thinking about sawing down this ungrateful crabapple, and be done with it!

Good morning and many garden blessings to all! Very happy Friday. The online weather report said 68F and cloudy, but it is neither at the moment. I'm gonna guess it at a nice sunny, breezy 72, and we indians tend to get that right. High at 89f.

Frank- We're ecstatic about the move, eventhough it's only 50 miles South (back to my home town). Vancouver was, in theory, a cheaper way to be part of Portland's music-scene and the seemingly booming tech industry (Robbie is "the real Dell Guy"). In practice: we could only afford the worst area in town (you should have seen our second choice!) and we both made more $ in Salem.

A very good afternoon all. The Malmö Festival finished up yesterday for another year. Caught the last bit of live music, it was a great time for all. And the rain stayed away :)

Good Saturday morning all! Currently sitting at 20°C and overcast. We finally got some desperately needed rain overnight! Maybe there IS hope for my gardens yet!
Loads of housework to be done today so my gardens will have to wait until tomorrow.
Have a great day all :)

Good afternoon, all! We've had our first autumn storm here, and I slept through it.

This weekend we have "dugnad" at the stables to get proper paddocks up, so the weather should be expected. It always blows and rains when something big is going on outdoors.

"Dugnad" is something we Norwegians are very good at. It means that we all gather and work together to get a project done. It can include tidying up, painting, cleaning, building, just about anything. Normally we do this for clubs we belong to, but it can also be done to help a friend out.

Since we didn't finish today, we'll do the rest tomorrow.
