Good morning all. Heading out to west Texas to spend the day with my Mom today. Looks like a chance of rain north and west of us for a couple of days then fall temps will arrive Monday night. Man am I ready for that.

Good morning! We had a bit of rain yesterday but now it's sunshine and 90's for the next few days. I have a day off but no plans. We'll see what happens today. dooley

Good Morning. Cloudy, rainy and in the 70's. We had tornado warnings last evening but they went east of us. The usual Friday shopping and out to supper with friends. Have a good day. Wannabe

Good Saturday morning all. Currently sitting at 16°C and overcast. A lot of clean up today after a freak windstorm yesterday. Many branches are down and there are broken plants all over the yard. After that, DH has plans for me :setc_019:
    Have a great day all.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently sitting at 12°C. It's overcast and damp and looks like rain. I heard on the news the other day that this was the driest summer in over 50 years. Looking at my gardens and trees, I believe it! I sure hope we get some rain today!
Have a great day all :)

Morning all. Another day of summer temps, yesterday the feels like temp was 103. Awfully warm and humid already, I don't even want to look at the thermometer ...too depressing.
Going to Randy's folks today just 1 and 1/2 hours south of us, but with construction always happening to highways around here and the heavy traffic that causes the highways to always be under repair, it could take a little longer.

Frank, good to hear that the cold is going away.

Good Morning. We've had little showers the last couple of days and maybe even today. Not enough to do much good. It is 75 now and should go up to 85 today. Our temps will seesaw for the next couple of weeks and then stay cool. Have a good day. Wannabe

Good morning, 10 deg C and raining. We actually had a nearly dry day yesterday, which was nice, but didn't help much in the way of drying up my garden. The autumn tasks list is growing longer and longer with every passing day.

Gooood morning all Stewbies. Weather is up and down like a yo-yo these days, today is of the rainy variety.

These days I am in the planning stages on the next major feature for GardenStew. It's going to take some time to develop but if it turns out like I hope it will it will be great for gardeners everywhere and the community. So stay choooned!

    Morning all.

Did you know that really loud and close thunder will strike fear in the heart of even a woman who has raised two daughters thru the teenage years.

We have been getting heavy rain since about 6 a.m., almost 4 inches in the rain gauge out back so far and are under a flash flood warning specifically aimed at north Dallas County (where I now sit) until 11 a.m.
We haven't had rain like this since early June,my garden is loving this. Me too, even while I have to keep moving things to higher spots as the water slowly seeps into the backroom....we really need to get the drain system in place this fall.
