The Good Day All Thread

Good morning! Up to 70's this morning going up to 90's. Smells smoky outside. The powers that control the forests? are doing controlled burns again and it was windy enough yesterday that it spread faster than it should have and spread smoke over the whole of Prescott, Prescott Valley and surrounding areas. As bad as it smells here it is worse up the hill. It is already affecting dr's inner ear. Have a good day. dooley

 

Its a nice day in my part of Texas.We kinda dodged a bullet this morning. I worry about Cajunbelle and all the Louisanna bunch.

Good Friday morning all. Currently sitting at 20°C and sunny. Winds will pick up this afternoon so I was busy tying plants this morning. Home from work today as there is no school due to the fall fair. It's a BIG deal in my town and all the kids have the day off school to compete and enjoy the fair. I've entered a few of my flowers and veggies again this year so we will soon see if I won any ribbons.

Good morning, been overdoing it lately & am kinda whipped. But at least my dining room is finally all the same color (gave up and just painted the wallpapered wall!) 57 and foggy here, lots of crickets chirping away.

Good morning! This is the second day in a row that I've gotten up at 6 am. Work today. It is only 60 now but going up to 94. It's cloudy but tomorrow's forecast is for showers and thunderstorms. They are still burning so the air is still smoky. Have a good day. dooley

 

Good Morning everyone -- 60 degrees when I walked at 6:00 this morning. Felt chillier because it was windy. Looks like a beautiful sunny day and only going into the 70's. Had a really nice rain early yesterday. Tonight they say we'll get into the high 50's -- feels like fall is here too.

 

Good morning, only five deg C today. This is beginning to look like an early winter, I must say. We've had lots of rain, wind and hail in the last couple of days. I met a man who's been keeping track, and he told me that we've had more than six weeks of rain every day. I'm beginning to tire of having to wear rain gear at all times.
