Good morning! 58 degs at 9 am. Going up to 80's. We need to start thinking about finding winter clothes and bringing some plants inside. Think I will see about finishing quilt today and tomorrow. Only five rows to do. dooley

Good Afternoon. It is 58 at 2 O'clock and it is cloudy and windy, a typical fall day. Nothing exciting here today. Wannabe

morning everyone: a very cold morning here. Overcast and getting into the 50's. Will be going with my 9 yr old's class today to a pumpkin patch. Should be fun.

Good morning all.....and OUCH! For the first time in almost 3 months I actually did some work in the side yard and a little in the garden....I say again, OUCH.

And yes I will be back out there again this morning :-D

The afternoon high temps are still above normal...where they should be around 80 now, we are still having 85-89 but the 90's are a thing of the past, at least until next May or so. But the morning temps of 59-65 are wonderful gardening weather for me.

Good Morning. Cool and cloudy here but I like the temps, early morning 40's to midafternoon 60's. A nursing "classmate" is passing through form Dallas to her "old" home in Galesburg. We are going to meet her in Springfield and visit for a couple of hours. You all have a good day. Wannabe

Good morning from the North Woods. Cool morning, but the rain seems to have stopped. About 70% of the leaves are down, I note that because the clean up now begins. Partly sunny, 34° when I got up, going up to about 50° later today. Off to clean up some leaves have a good day.

Hey everyone! Quite the chilly Friday here. No rain just yet, but hardly any sun and a chilly breeze that keeps rolling though. Hope everyone has a great day!

A very good afternoon all at GardenStew. Brrrr, from the relatively warm temperatures of the last few days it has come spiralling down again. Oh well what goes up must come down

Good Saturday morning all. Currently just 5°C Brrrr! I think I will have to break down and turn on the heat! It sure feels like autumn today. Many things to get put away outside including Alfie my little garden gnome. He's ready to go to bed for the winter.
Have a great day all :)

Good morning! Cool and breezy here today. Only going up to 70. We're off to work today. Yesterday, we went to Phoenix. Wasted trip for the most part. We did stop at my sister's for just a few minutes. We went to the Sunflower store and bought a few things. They carry bulk grains, flour, etc. I bought a coarse ground cornmeal which I like better than the fine. Have a good day everyone and accomplish lots. dooley
