Good Morning/afternoon everyone - 49 degrees here this morning. A little dew on the grass and car this morning. The sun is up and it's going to be a nice day here. The right kind of weather to enjoy most things. Have a great day.

It is cool here this morning, prolly in the mid 60s. Love it. Our greyhound loves it. The back yard is hers and she runs and runs. One can never have a greyhound and a garden in the same bit of land. So she has the back 1/2 acre and we have the front. She has the house in the middle as well. We just pay for it.

Good morning! It is about 50 degrees here, going to warm up to the 70s today - lightly raining, perfect for going out into for weeding, everything is nice and soft and some blossoms still blooming, trees are barely touched with fall color.

We are recuperating from jet-lag after a week and a half in Hawaii, but it was so worth it - warm ocean, giant plants, entire hedges of blooming plumeria everywhere, geckos, etc... I thought of all of you several times, expecially when driving past some of the great flower farms. Also came *this close* to buying Frank a tee shirt that said "Hangin' with my Gnomies" - it had the same design as This Sticker. Haha!

Now I want a conservatory because I want to grow a dwarf papaya tree - I got hooked on having those for breakfast, yum.

Woo that's awesome, especially as the gnomes look so menacing. A reflection of their true inner nature  Welcome back Prim :smt023

A beautiful fall day in Southern Oregon. I've had my geraniums in the garage for about a week! It's easier to leave them in there than to drag them in and out every night! We've had frost in the forcast for about 8 days now :( Woke up to 27 degrees yesterday, was sure my big pot of marigolds was done for. They look a little haggard but I'm not ready to compost them just yet! My fall crocus made an appearance over the weekend. I'm adding more crocus bulbs to my wish list.
    Happy Thursday Everybody!

Good Morning/afternoon everyone - Kind of cloudy here this morning and 61 degrees. It was very breezy when I walked this morning. We are suppose to have some thundershowers today. I didn't do my full walk because I started to get sprinkled on, but by the time I got back to the house it had quit -- oh well. Gardenstew is a great place to learn something new. Have a great Friday.

Good morning everyone. It's hot again. We had a great respite from the heat for two days, but summer has returned. We are heading north to Eureka Springs AR leaving tomorrow and returning Sunday October 1st. Doing some house hunting in hopes of leaving Louisiana in the broad daylight.

A warm morning here and it is going to be a really warm afternoon too. Summer is making another guest appearance bringing it close to 100. But there should be some rain and much cooler weather by the end of the weekend.

Today....10 bags of mulch and a new garden fork are in my near future...and maybe a couple of new plants :-D I have broken two garden forks this month, course they were both so old we can not remember how long we have had them. But the past 4 years they have gotten more use than ever before in their lives. They are two more victims of the past two hot and dry summers, sitting in the backroom drying out.

Good morning! We're heading toward Phoenix this morning. I need to pick up a few things and I haven't been down to see my sister all summer. I've been thinking of her since she appeared in a conversation last week. Dooley

Good morning (afternoon ) greetings from a nosey gnome. Had a bit of a lie in (it's Saturday, forgivable?) but now I'm off to check out the new posts. Must make that big mug o' tea first though :D

    All the best for today!
