Good morning! Cold and sunny this morning. Cookie day was great. We even got cookies made amid the talk and laughter. Chance loved it because Tim went out and played with her. Wore her out, too. They took cookies, we have cookies. Guess the neighbor will have cookies as soon as I package some up for them. Have a good day. dooley

Good Monday morning all. Currently sitting at -8°C and sunny. I'm just in having a rest from shoveling out from under all this snow. The driveway is almost half done. So far, we've gotten the plow truck stuck twice and used a tank of gas in the snow blower! The first half of is the worst so once we get to the lower half it should be smooth sailing (I hope!)
Have a great day all :)

Just 7 days to go, and the pressure is on to get things done. So I've picked a rendition of mine of a motivational piece of music by Eric Coates, called...

    Hello everyone

We are having wonderfully hot days here and I just had my run and intend to go swim after stewing a bit.
We are expecting the temperature to reach 31 degrees Celsius here. (Weatherman said 27, but it was 27 at 10 am this morning already.)

    Have a great day

A very good morning/afternoon all on this chilly Malmö day. A few days of these temperatures and maybe it'll snow but knowing my luck it will when I'm away. I don't know what the chances are in Ireland.

Good Morning from Wisconsin's wonderful North Woods. 12 F (-11 C) this morning, but not going to get above freezing again today, that makes 20 days and counting. Very high lacy clouds this morning, with occasional patches of blue, and the air is still. There is about a foot of snow on the ground, there are Ice fishing shacks out on the lake, I saw three yesterday, and someone said that there were cars out on the ice on a nearby lake. Snowmobiles are again competing for parking spots in town, even though the calendar says no, I say winter is here. So as the song says, "Sleigh bells ring, are ya lisnin, in the lane, snows a glisnin, it's a beautiful sight, we're happy to night, walkin in a winter wonder land". Enjoy your day.

Good morning all. It seems our little journey into winter is over, back into the 60's for the next few days. Guess I will wander thru the garden to see what three nights of freezing temps did out there and move some potted plants out of the bloom house.

Good Morning. Cold, 34, but sunny and temp going up to 40. We've made a pot of chili this morning and this afternoon is a trip to the Doc and some Christmas shopping. Wannabe

Good afternoon all. Currently -2°C here and overcast. At least it's not snowing!
I spent the entire morning wrapping gifts and making one final list of things to buy. I'm almost done!
Have a great day all :)

Good morning, almost! It's a few minutes past noon so it's not actually morning anymore. We got grandma's package mailed, finally. I still have a few things to do. Tom isn't coming after all so got to go cancel my extra day off and save it for later. Going up early to buy gift cards for Erin. Bought Fintin a gift yesterday but I guess it will be a New Year's gift. Tom and Kirsten will probably get New Year's gifts, too. Have a nice day. dooley

Good morning, we've got +1 deg C - 34 deg F, and the sky is golden to the east, with a huge lead-grey bank coming in from the west. This must mean snow or rain, I wonder which.

I've got to find a saw, hammer and nails and fix a paddock or two this morning. The power isn't working properly and the horses insist on having fun on the farmer's fields. Not much fun for the farmer, so I have to stop them somehow.

    G'morning all.
    What a day yesterday was!
My mother, who I am carer for, had - the doctor believed - a minor stroke, and most of the late afternoon and evening consisted of attempts, helped by a nurse neighbour, to get her into bed.
I put my back out through the exertion - my mum's only slight, but what a dead weight!
Finally, she was admitted to hospital at about 9.30, to keep an eye on her for a day or two. I do hope she'll be back here to enjoy Christmas with me. Otherwise I shall be spending the day with her at the hospital.

Anyway, the tune today is dedicated to mum - and anyone else who is being cared for in hospital.
    It's called
    'All The Things You Are'

Get well soon, mum. Love you.

Good morning/afternoon all, ok now I'm finished the dreaded Xmas shopping. Flying back to Ireland tomorrow, really looking forward to it.

Sorry to hear about your day yesterday Pete, I really hope your mother will be well enough to spend Xmas with you. Really enjoyed today's tune.
