Good morn...uh, afternoon! Rainy and dreary here, as it has been for the past week. Think I'd welcome a bit of sunshine or even a change like fog or snow - typical winter for here, think it calls for a little dreaming over a seed catalog to bring some 'springtime cheer' in!

At least all the Christmas lights make everything cheerful and colorful, even with it getting dark so soon.

G'morning all and a happy Xmas eve to all that celebrate it. Will have to get around to wrapping gifts soon (not a big fan of that). Also looks like snow is an impossibility if the weather forecasts are anything to go by. I agree with them.

    Current temps: 5 deg C / 41 deg F

    Have a good one!

Good morning, all. We didn't sleep well last night due to this wretched storm blowing, so this will be a yawny Christmas Eve. With 8 deg C - 46 deg F we'll get no snow either. Enjoy your day.

Good Monday morning all. Currently -5°C and windy. We had torrential rains yesterday and then a flash freeze last night. I think the kids can put on their ice skates and skate almost anywhere in the yard today!
This afternoon we begin our celebrations with my family and then home again to awaken at the crack of dawn tomorrow.
    Where did the year go?
Have a great day all and a very Merry Christmas.

Good mornin to all. One last busy day. Just have a few more gifts to wrap and make 2 pumpkin pies. Alas I think I'll actually get to break the old tradition of staying up late wraping gifts. Merry Christmas to all.

    Chilly good morning all.
Had a good christmas get together with Mom yesterday. Got to watch a huge full moon and Mars at it's closest to earth until the year 2023 rise higher in the sky all the way home.

Today I believe I will spend most of my time taking Vitamin C and my Propolis/Myrrh drops, hoping to nip in the bud this 'curd' like thing I feel coming on.

Edit to add....I forgot to add the space weather weblink so you could see a picture of the moon and mars. http://spaceweather.com/

Good Morning from the city, nice as it is here at this house, and being with the family, and it's very nice, We miss our north woods home, and all the beauty of the woods and lake. The weather went from 40s F (7 C) and fog, and some rain, before the front passed, to 13 F (-11 C) with blizzard winds and some snow, after the front passed. The change happened in less that 2 hours yesterday. To day it remains cold, but the winds have let up some, and the sun came out. The Bears made short work of our Packers yesterday, and I didn't throw anything at the telly, that's amazing, and now it's Christmas Eve. Where has all the time gone to??? Merry Christmas to all that celebrate, and if you don't celebrate Christmas, may your day be filled with the same peace, love and joy that Christmas brings to those that do.

God morning! It's just a bit past noon but we went to breakfast and thought we'd look around at the mall. That wasn't a good idea. Stopping at the grocery for milk wasn't a much better idea. There were people all over the place and pushing and shoving and hollering at each other. We came home before we got caught up in a fight. Merry? Christmas! We aren't going out again before Wednesday and then only to go to work in the afternoon. No shopping for after Christmas until after the New Year. What happened to good cheer and fun? Have a Merry Christmas, everyone!! dooley

Good morning, all. The presents are all opened, the children are full of sweets already and we're having family over for dinner later.

    It's 4 deg C - 39 deg F and looks like it's going to be a nice day.

A very happy Xmas day morning / afternoon to all at GardenStew. Presents still haven't been opened yet in my household, we'll do it after the scrumptious feast that is the Xmas dinner. Weather is quite mild indeed, snow is the furthest thing from its mind.

    Current temps: 7 deg C / 45 deg F

Have a most wonderful Xmas day everyone!

Good morning all. Hope Santa or Father Christmas was very good to you all.
No early morning Santa activity here any more and that is a bit sad, but we will be heading over to Lisa's around 10 to see what the grandsons got.

Anyone seen the movie The Golden Compass? We saw it yesterday and really enjoyed it. A lot of the outdoor filming was done in Sweden and Norway too. Beautiful scenery.
