Good morning. 1st day of January. I woke up to sunshine this morning. Though its 28 degr.F out, it looks nice with the sunshining down. Enjoy your day.

 

A Good 1st morning of 2008 to you, from Wisconsin's North Woods. Snowed last night, and there is still some in the air. 10° F (-12° C). Slight breeze out of the south. The snow this year seems to be very light and dry, making for easy shoveling. The base compacts, and the total depths don't grow to match the individual snow falls. We are going to breakfast with some friends, and then I'll watch some football. A good way to start the year.

Will head out soon to DH's cousins, to eat ham and cabbage and visit with family. Then back to the real world tomorrow

Good morning! It's bright and sunny here today. Still a bit cool, but I'm a bit cool most of the year. I'm a warm, hot weather person. No parades, no football, nothing planned. Back to work tomorrow. dooley

Can you believe people are still shooting off M80s? one just rattled my windows, yipe the new year is already here, folks, lol! Hope you all had a safe and peaceful night. Good Wednesday morning all. The temperature sure took a dive overnight! Currently -18°C and SUNNY! This is the first time we've had a sunny day since December 10th! I'm going to try to get outside to enjoy the sun even if I have to bundle up to do so.

Good Morning from Wisconsin's North Woods. It got down to 0 F (-18 C) last night. Very gray dark sky this morning, and there is snow in the air, fine little snow flakes, after a beautiful sunny day yesterday. But after all it's January, what should we expect.
