Cold in our northwoods too...regular temp is -20 below F with a windchill of -35 F. I think I'll stay inside and do some baking today. We're invited to a tailgate party at our local pub tomorrow before the big Packer game...I'll wear my snowmobile suit and should be fine outside for awhile!

Good Saturday afternoon all. Currently -5°C and sunny. We have also had some passing snow squalls today.
Busy morning for us today. I was at the Dr's office bright and early this morning and he prescribed some antibiotics. Then we were off to do some errands and shopping. I carried in a bunch of firewood when I got home and now it's time to relax!
Have a great day all :)

good early afternoon to everyone! It's cold here, snow mixed with the rain. Got up early and headed straight for the feed store to get straw to clean out the goat shed. Sometimes I think they are more trouble than they're worth, then they snuffle my ear, I'm such a sucker! Just got in from that & still smelling goaty. Looks like snow tonight maybe.

Good morning, we've got 2 deg C - 36 deg F and a little bit of very wet snow. The clouds look ready to give us more, but as long as it's so mild they can keep it and come back later when it's colder.

Yum, Gals, All the food sounds terrific. Well it is 24F here, and the wind chill of 14F. Well, it snowed, and rained here yesterday . . . "0" accumulation . . . but that is fine. . . I sure enjoyed the snow that we did get the other day. At least I get to see it here thanks to you snowbunnies from all over. The family dinner was good, and we enjoyed visiting. After dinner, we got around the table, and all colored and talked for a couple of hours. It was fun . . . then Adam loaded up his brood, and headed back home. I read a little, and fell asleep by 9:00 PM. Well church was prematurely canceled, and I just may visit another church today, but do not know which one yet. Have a blessed day!

Not nearly as cold this morning...only -17 F!!! I got a lot of cooking/baking done yesterday so we're stocked up for awhile. The oven helped warm up the house, and both fireplaces went all day instead of our furnace...sure helps to keep the LP gas bills down when the weather's like this.

Morning all, our cold snap is coming to an end but I hear that another one will arrive on Tuesday and if the rain is still here when the cold arrives we could have some ice...but that is a long shot.

Lisa and I wandered thru the IKEA store near here, interesting place. Neither of us needs furniture but the doo-dads are interesting. I don't know if all IKEA stores sell cinnamon rolls, but the ones this one did are wonderful.
