Morning all. I really hate getting up in the morning now, it's just going to be another day of relentless sun, heat and no rain. A few clouds actually in the sky today, covering the sun for a few blessed minutes once in a while.

We do have the possibility of Hurricane Ike coming on shore around Houston and heading this way...or he could hit far south Texas and go straight west missing us again. Won't know for sure on this one until late this week.

The heat is easing up a little bit. We got some rain from Hanna and some roof damage too. My garden fence was smashed, but we got through okay. My plants mainly survived. Glad things are back to normal.

Good Tuesday morning all. It's grey but dry and temps are 14 C/57 F. I hope the sun will be out later. Yesterday started exactly like this, so my hope is well-founded. :D

Nights are getting chilly now, about 5 C/41F. I need to bring the house plants inside, and call it autumn. Bought some decorative cabbage yesterday, they're going in the planter outside the front door. If the weather's not too awful they'll stay nice for many weeks.

A very good morning / afternoon all at GardenStew and it's yet another beautiful day here in Malmö. I know my weather reports have been a bit samey recently but I'm sure something 'exciting' will happen soon :D

    Current temps: 18 deg C / 64 deg F.

    Have a top Tuesday.

Good Morning. Cool, 55, but going up to around 70 today. It is sunny today. I can't believe it is already Sept. 9th. We finished all our in town errands yesterday so plan on working around home today. Have a good one. Wannabe

Good Morning, all. It's so good to get friendly greetins in the morning. It's still hot this beautiful Sept morning. More seed planting planned today. Have a great day!

Good morning! We had a thunderstorm during the night and the possibility of one today. The rest of the week may be sunny and 80'. I think maybe the 90-100 degree weather may be about done for this year. I will still need to water some things as I don't think there was too much rain with the thunder and lightning. Chance went out around midnight and barked it away. dooley

    Goood morning all....Good afternoon all.
I have spent much of this morning watching and thoroughly enjoying a surprise rainfall. No lightening or thunder or any bad stuff just sometimes heavy, sometimes medium rain. An inch in the rain gauge and it seems to be coming to an end. This is only the 2nd or 3rd such rainfall we have had since early May so it is to be enjoyed to the fullest.
Tomorrow I should be able to get out and actually get my trowel into the soil and start on an herb bed out back.

Goooood morning / afternoon all on a slightly dullish Malmö day. Just got a new assignment in my Swedish course, to read 60 pages of the classic Romeo & Juliet. In Swedish of course :)

    Current temps: 17 deg C / 63 deg F.

    Have a wicked Wednesday.

Good morning all. After almost 2 inches of rain yesterday I had plans for pulling up some Iris bulbs to replant into pots to get a new herb bed area opened up.
But it is raining again this morning and I am certainly NOT complaining.

Now we have Hurricane Ike coming for a visit, evacuation shelters are opening up again in the area tomorrow. http://www.stormpulse.com/

Good Morning, it is a cool sunny morning. It is only 47 at mid morning. Today my GD came to stay until her bus picks her up at noon. This is her first day of pre school and every little bit she asks if it is time for her school bus. It is going to be a long morning. Have a good day. Wannabe

Good Soggy Morning! We had a lot of rain yesterday. We got soaked coming in from the car last night. It's sunny now but already the clouds are building up for rain this afternoon and evening. I didn't get out to water yesterday so the plants are happy and the weeds are growing at a faster rate. Have a good day. dooley

Good morning all. Well the rain has moved on to places north and east of us. Hurricane Ike appears to have changed his mind about paying my part of Texas a visit.
Temps are going back into the 90's for a couple of days.

I had hoped to start on the herb bed since the soil was softened by the rain but between the oppressive humidity level and the mosquitos I turned right around and decided to spend the day knitting instead.

Good morning, just! It was sunny here earlier but now the clouds are building up for our afternoon, evening rain. The tropical storm Lowell is being pulled Northeast across Mexico by air currents from Ike and bringing our rain. Have a good day everyone and stay safe. dooley
