The North Woods is gray and cool again, rained off and on yesterday, it kind of limits activities, but the rain is much needed. The fall colors are hiding somewhere, just a few trees here and there showing their true fall glory. Have a good Sunday. Tom

Good Morning. It is rainy here today, leftovers of Ike. I plan on sitting it and not doing much. I don't like to drive in rain, esp. when roads are flooded. Have a good day. Wannabe

    Good Morn....Afternoon all.
Cool front moved thru last night and today is wonderfully cool and a lot less humid feeling. Still high humidity but with the wind out of the NNW it doesn't feel as bad.

We are expecting lows down to the upper 50's a couple of mornings and highs only in the lower 80's so I will finally be outside playing in the dirt.

Good Monday morning from the coast of Norway. 12 C/54 F and grey but dry today. Perfect weather for moving plants about, so that's what I will do. After doing some much needed house work. I've started reading a Ken Follett brick of 1,088 pages, and things tend to be overlooked because the book is exciting.

    Have a lovely day, all.

G'morning / afternoon to you all. Sun is beaming down but it's getting very cold now in the shade. Hello Autumn. Should start to see some leaf drop soon.

    Current temps: 13 deg C / 55 deg F.

    Have a magic Monday.

    Good morning/afternoon all.
It is amazing how invigorating spending 4 hours digging in the dirt can be. My arms are killing me right now but I do feel really good.

59 degrees this morning when I started out there, only came inside because of my aching arms. But will be back out there every morning this week while the mornings are this cool.

Good morning all. Only 56 this morning and the coolness of outside is calling me to come play in the dirt.
I just hope I don't cut any more earth worms in half today, that is one of the worst feelings there is. :'(

A very good morning / afternoon to all at GardenStew. In my Swedish lessons today we heard a old-wifes tale that if the berries of the mountain ash are of a brighter red than normal to expect a cold winter. Well they are so I better invest in a new woolly hat :)

    Current temps: 12 deg C / 54 deg F.

    Have a terrific Tuesday.

    Good morning all,
We have a cooler morning today and like you Toni, I'm heading for the dirt. Glad you've enjoyed yourself. Going to be a rainey week, good for sowing fall seeds.

Good morning! I'm late here. I talked to Glenda and then sent a lot of emails and pm's for her. Went to post office and bank. Now, morning's about over. Wannabe, Glenda said thanks for sending the hummers back. She has a lot of flowers blooming and they are sure enjoying them. dooley

Good morning, we've got some fine autumn weather here. Temps are slowly creeping down. 11 C/52 F this morning, barely. We've had rain during the night but it's dry but cloudy now. Off to have breakfast and then go for a ride before attacking need-to-do-chores inside and you.

    Enjoy your Wednesday all.
