    A very good morning / afternoon all at GardenStew. It was a dry day until about an hour ago when it started to trickle down. I'm inside today so no worries :)

    Good morning all. We finally have fall type weather. 60's today and not higher than the upper 70's for the next 6 days after. My yard got roughly 5/8ths of an inch of rain yesterday when the cool front moved thru. Windy today too, I just might have to dig out a long sleeve shirt. Nah!! it's not cold enough yet for long sleeves.

    We will be shopping for a bed for my Mom today. We are moving her closer to us on Saturday into an efficiency apartment at a retirement inn not far from here. She sold her bedroom suite so we need to find her a daybed or regular twin bed and a chest of drawers.

    Good morning all, a windy but so far dry one here on the coast of Norway. 10C/50F now, but near frost at night. It's been windy and rainy for days and days, but the trees still have foliage - some of them. :D

    I'm polishing saddle and tack in preparation for tomorrow, and I've no nails left because I'm nervous. We're celebrating my son-in-law's birthday today, should take my mind off things for a bit.

    Morning all. Dull and overcast here this morning and definitely getting colder. Managed to spend a little time in the garden yesterday afternoon putting the tender plants away for the winter.

    Good Saturday morning all. Currently 0°C but sunny and clear. I guess there is no denying summer is really over :(
    I have many things to do outside today...Bulb planting, Canna digging, leaf raking, cutting back perennials, and hopefully some manure shoveling. I guess I'd better get to it!

    good morning all! it's dark and a balmy 46F here. on the drive to town yesterday the trees were all so colorful. i guess fall is really here! i have beets and carrots to can, brussel sprouts to freeze, and plum jam to make, plum wine to start and plums to dehydrate...then...outside work! have a good one all! :stew1:

    And a happy morning to y'll today. It's a chilly day in Maine today (45F) with sun and wind. A perfect fall day. I wish I could say I'd gotten all kinds of foliage shots for you but unfortunately things have been so nuts I've only gotten a few. I will post later though.

    Very rainy day here today. Plants are so happy with it, esp the new Pansies I just planted in the porch boxes. They just stand up and smile at you. Have a great day.

    Good morning all.

    Got my Mom all moved and mostly unpacked. My gawd she has a lot of **** but we will work on thinning that out over the next few weeks. We go back today to hang pictures and pretties on the walls.
    When we left her last night she was very happy to be there and exhausted. If she felt up to it she is going to the dining room this morning for coffee and meeting some, hopefully, new friends.
