    Good morning all. We had our first real touch of frost this morning but looks like it is going to be another lovely sunny day. Still quite a bit of tidying up to do in the garden so hope the good weather continues for a while. Have a great day.

    Good morning, wind, rain, cold and they tell us to expect snow soon. I've got bulbs to plant, and no time to do it before the week-end, so that snow had better stay away for a bit longer. It's really not that cold. 10C/50F today, but it feels cold!

    I'm off to the stables. Truls needs his exercise and so do I.

    Lovely to be back. I have not even touched the surface in trying to catch up with all that I have missed whiel being Internetless. Still looong way to read.

    Weather is springy here and the temps is between 14 and 22 degrees Celsius.

    I need to do major shopping too - my cupboards are bare. I will thus just surf for a short while.

    Glad to see you back with us Palmtree.

    Good morning all. Cold front blew thru yesterday and it is great. The temperature dropped 24 degrees in less than three hours...from 77 to 53. Very windy as the front came thru with rain that amounted to barely 2/100's of an inch. And as is my tradition, I greated the first real cold front of the season standing at the open front door with a cup of coffee in my hands.
    The first real cold front of the season is a great time to open doors and windows and blow summer and all the negative feelings I have had about it out of the house.

    This morning it is a chilly 43 out and feels great.

    Good morning/afternoon all. After a miserable rainy start to the day the sun came out and I have been doing what I love doing most, getting my hands dirty in the garden, potting up my geraniums and bringing in my fuchsias and getting them back into the greenhouse for the winter. The weather forecast for next week is very cold, not looking forward to that at all, but I guess that compared to the low temperatures some of our Garden Stewers have to endure we are quite lucky in the UK. Enjoy the rest of the day everyone.
