A very good afternoon all Stewbies. Managed to beat off the oncoming flu yesterday by having a few hours sleep during the day. Lucky :) Weather is pleasant here today, everything still looks gorgeous and autumn-y.

Good morning, sort of. *mumbles* The sun is coming out, we've got blue skies, snow and -3C/27F. Guess I shan't complain. The forecast said 6C/43F and rain. I'm off to put studs on the horse shoes shortly. Don't want any mishaps.

    Enjoy your Thursday.

Good afternoon, all. The weather here is really strange. We were supposed to have rain yesterday but all we received was a tiny sprinkle and a loud thunderstorm. So I went outside to take some pics and found out that the card for my camera isn't working. Now I have to order another one and wait..sigh. This is after a frustrating week of sporadic Internet access, no phone and dealing with how things are done here (slooooowwwwlllly) to get them fixed. Another round of trying to get my access fixed awaits me this afternoon. It's probably a sign for me- I was working like a maniac for awhile and this has forced me to slow down. I think I am going to reward myself with some bulbs I can force inside. A reminder to myself to stop and enjoy life a little more often....

Good morning all, we had a couple of days of really nice cool temps but now it's warming up again :'(

Still no gardening for me. I burned a couple of fingers the other day in a stupid on my part cooking accident and they aren't anywhere near ready to be gloved and working in the dirt. But at least I have a chance of getting caught up on the gift knitting I am behind on.

Good morning all. Just another warm, relentlessly sunny day ahead here.
We were out shopping last night and heard crickets chirpping near the parking lot. It just doesn't seem right to hear crickets chirpping at the end of October and into early November. But since summer absolutely refuses to go away and stay away, that is what we will be hearing for several weeks more it appears.

Going off to stand in a very long line for early voting today, no telling how long that will take since the turnout has been way heavier than they expected.

Happy Hallowe'en all! Not expecting to see many trick or treaters here as it's still very much a growing tradition here in Sweden. Here trick or treat is 'Buss eller godis' which roughly translated means 'Mischief or candy' :) Hope you have a great one all!

Good morning all. No weather to report here, just sunny and almost hot even on this the first day of November. :'(

No trick or treaters here last night. Amanda went to a party, we went out to dinner and kept the porch light off when we got home. Funny thing was, all our neighbors kept their lights off too so there were no kids on our block at all. Course I had already bought a couple of large bags of candy before we decided not to hand any out, now we have a large cauldron filled with three varieties of chocolate candy to eat. It will be a tough job but we can do it ;)

A very good morning / afternoon to you all at GardenStew. No trick or treaters yesterday I'm ashamed to report. Today is Alla Helgons Dag (All Souls Day) where people remember their dead, often by leaving a candle at their grave.

Good afternoon, all. It was a sunny morning but now it has clouded over with a few sprinkles of rain. We have a 95% chance of rain and thunderstorms for tonight and tomorrow- not the usual weather for here. It isn't expected to cool us off however. I am looking forward to it- an excuse for me to cuddle up with a good book and wait for the weather to break!

Good Sunday morning all. Currently -5°C and sunny. We worked hard in the yard yesterday stacking firewood and getting things put away. Today I will fiddle with my new high speed connection! Finally!!
Have a great day all :)

G'morning / afternoon all at GardenStew. Gorgeous clear day here today. I've decided to study Mathematics through Swedish next year and I just came home from an exam to judge my current level of understanding. It went rather well so let's see what level they place me in :)
