    MORNING!!!

We're busy painting the outside of the front windows today as it's dry and quite mild. We don't have much daylight now that the clocks have changed so I'd best get back out there. Have a nice day!!! :D

Love Daylight Savings in the fall, though I curse it in the spring. Woke up at my usual time this morning except my clock says it is early, early so I get to play on the computer for a little while. Still foggy in the mornings here, clear and warm in the afternoons - wonderful weather.

Good Morning. Here's a Mark Twain quote to start the day.

Good Morning/afternoon everyone -- 41 degrees and the sun's shining here. I did remember to turn the clock back but, of course, woke at "my" regular time. I'm never happy about it getting dark so early in the evenings when we do this -- oh well. Have a great day and enjoy whatever you do.

Morning all on this the 30th October. Wow it was cold yesterday, such a dramatic change all of a sudden. The heating was on around my toadstool.

Some bats seem to have invaded our beloved logo so I'll do my best to shoo them away. That should take me until the 1st November Mr. Green

    Current weather: A relatively bitter 6 deg C / 43 deg F. No sun.
Currently playing: The Cure - Stop Dead

    No Monday blues allowed!

Top coating the windows today - such fun!!!! That's the joy of living in an old cottage - it's upkeep is constant.

Dry for the time being but it may rain later. Let's hope the paint dries before it does.

Morning all. 61 here going into the 80's this afternoon. :'( Sure wish we could get some of the rain plaguing other parts of the country. Our drought conditions are still at the extreme level.

Got a sick grandson coming over in about an hour. Nicky, the 7 yr old, seems he has the crud that is going around.

Good morning all. It's a great sunny morning here. We are expecting guests from Alabama this morning and will take them on a tour of the city. It's so very depressing, but I do think everyone must be aware of what is not happening in New Orleans post Katrina.

Good morning (or almost afternoon, actually) - we finally had a frost here, I had to scrape a bit of it off of my car windows this morning. I'm glad I moved the last of the delicate plants into the greenhouse yesterday! It is gorgeously clear now, lovely outside with a cool light wind blowing the gold leaves from the poplars like a bright shower outside the window.
