    Good morning all Stewbies

    IT is positively HOT here - expected temps 21 - 33 degrees Celsius. It is already 24 C when I got up this morning. There is a film of smoke wafting over to this side which means the fire is stil not under control.
    I will have to keep all my windows closed to keep the smoke and fire smells and soot outdoors.

    Good morning. We've got sunshine, yay!

    Temps are 5C/41F and I'm hoping to clear my gardens today. The sun is warming us now. Spring's definately on it's way. :D

    A very good morning / afternoon to one and all at GardenStew. We spent our last 3 Swedish lessons watching a mini-series called Kejsarn av Portugallien based on a book of the same name by the nobel prize winning Swedish author Selma Lagerlöf. It was very good but stirring. Is anyone familiar with it?

    Good Thursday morning all. Currently -3°C and sunny! It's so nice out Penny, I can see why you are so excited...it's starting to feel like spring isn't that far away!
    Spring cleaning continues, but I will have to spend some time outdoors too :)

    Good morning all. Temps are rising quickly, if I am to get any playing in the dirt time today I had best get out there, should be in the 80's by early afternoon. I am NOT ready for summer weather yet. :-x

    It is a great Morning. Sunny and warm, 50, but it is very windy. We are off to Springfield to do errands today so maybe I will only need a light jacket. Have a good day. Wannabe

    It sounds familiar, so I've probably read it in my youth. I've visited Ms Lagerlöf's home, years ago. It's a museum now, and very pretty it is too.

    No, I didn't. I haven't seen a Swedish bank note for years. A well deserved honour, though. She was a special woman.

    Following is a quote from our local newspaper:
    I do not know how long it is going to take to put out these fires. It is really taking its toll and today will be no different.
    I think I will take a break from volunteering my help with feeding those who lost their homes, etc. in the fires. No I need a break. I will spend the day with my pets after stewing a bit.

    Oh, Palm Tree! *hug* I'm so sorry for your situation. You've done good and deserve a break.

    Norway's west coast is cloudy, temporarily dry and chilly this morning. We've got 7C/45F with colder, wetter weather on the way.

    I'm off to attend a funeral today, and then the stables afterwards.
