Good Wednesday morning all. Currently +4°C and very windy. It must have rained all night...every last bit of snow is gone now and everything is soaking wet.
Some more cleaning today. Boy, my spring cleaning is taking a long time this year! But I am being very thorough and going thru everything. There is a lot of "stuff" being thrown out this year.
    Have a great day all.

Good morning all it is raining here, it has been raining for almost 3 hours now and it isn't the only rain we are likely to get over the next three days. Right now there is 1.25 inches/3.2 centimeters of rain in the gauge out back.

This won't break the drought by any means, we need almost 20 inches/50 centimeters to do that but this will add much need moisture to everything and maybe even keep the wildfire chances down for a few days.

To say nothing about changing my attitude a whole lot.

Good Morning. It is cold and our rain seems to be gone for a few days. I am ready for it to warm up and stay warm for awhile. I've nothing planned for today but that doesn't mean much. Enjoy your day. Wannabe

Good morning all, it's windy, rainy and 6C/43F. The winds are supposed to be gale force plus today, and the rain's supposed to stay with us for a couple of days at least. It's spring.

I'm off to tend the horses, and then I'm off outside to continue with the spring cleaning in the borders, IF the rain stops for a couple of hours.

    Enjoy the Thursday!

Good Thursday morning all. Currently -10°C and sunny. Yesterday's strong winds did some damage in the yard so if it warms up a little I'll head outside. For now, it's back to my spring cleaning.
Have a great day all :)

Good morning all. 3.5 inches/9 centimeters of rain has fallen on my yard in the last 26 hours. That is more than it got in the past 5 months total. It could very well be the last we get for the next 5 months but that remains to be seen since the drought isn't over for us yet.

Cold and rainy yesterday, cold and sprinkly today then another wave of all day rain comes over tomorrow. I am loving this!!!

Good morning from the bright and sunny North Woods of Wisconsin. So here we are looking at a low temperature last night of -16º F (-27º C). That is the 50th time this winter season that the temperature went below 0º F (-18º C) I'm sorry to keep on with the cold and snow, but that's all we have here. I'm jealous of all those that are seeing plants grow and flowers bloom, while the snow continues to fall here. Don't feel sorry for me though, as I chose to live here, knowing full well how the weather is, and I love it most of the time, I just get a little impatient come spring.

Good Friday morning all. Currently -10°C and clear. There is a lovely moon still visible in the sky this morning. Today I'm off to do errands and shopping while the kids stay home and clean :) Today is their first day of March break.
    Have a great day all.

A happy Friday morning / afternoon to you all. Would you believe we had some snow yesterday? Well I say snow but I don't mean the beautiful floaty variety, I mean the heavy slushy variety. Anyway it's gone again today :)

    Current temps: 1 deg C / 34 deg F - Broken Clouds

Hope you have a great Friday!

Good morning all. I LOVE it when the weather prognosticator is correct. We have more lovely rain today, maybe even 1-2 inches more. A medium dark gray sky from the overcast, a steady rain and temps in the 30's .....my second favorite kind of day.

I have two new gardening magazines and a new issue of Herb Quarterly to read and a lovely rainy day for doing that, I am a happy old lady. :-D
