Good morning all. Currently +4°C and overcast with a high of 15°C expected. It is really starting to feel like spring here...a lot of birds back for the season. I saw a pair of Killdeer yesterday, Canadian Geese, Robins, Red Winged Blackbirds to name a few. Today we will head to the mall :)
Palmtree, that picture is amazing yet so scary at the same time. I hope you are well away from the fires.
Penny, sending a big Congratulations to your daughter!
    Have a great day all.

Good morning all. Back into the mid 80's today (26-29C) I got too much sun yesterday, no leaves on the trees to provide shade yet so I worked in full sun for too long....I will be inside today....with a side trip the garden center for three more Citronella plants and possibly a flat of red Geraniums.

PalmTree...what a horrible fire. One that size in our drought conditions is something feared around here too. Hope you are far away from it and the rain comes soon.

Just popping in to say good morning, haven't had much time lately what with redesigning the veggie beds, laying a new floor, repainting trim damaged by laying a new floor, having a rotten cold, being bummed by all the rain/hail/snow, and trying to convince my tomato seedlings to grow! But today looks like a bit of sun might show up, and the pussy willow tree is loaded both with silky grey bits of fluff and very cheerful chickadees, so perhaps winter will end after all!

Good Morning. I think spring may have finally come to our area. It has been in the 60's and even 70's yesterday so things are popping out all over. We are off to take a ride this afternoon so we will have a quiet day. Enjoy yours. Wannabe

    Hello everyone
Just a quick hello. THe fire is under control for now. I am not in danger Netty - thanks for the concern I really appreciate it. (Gosh - that is why I like the Stew - IT is my Cyber family. It is much better than talking to non-feeling people)
As stated in the local paper this morning.
Strange enough the Fynbos in the Table Mountain National Park actually needs fire every five years to regenerate and since there were no fires for nine years I bet the Fynbos will be happy with the fire.
People have been allowed to return to their homes. Traffic is terribly slow. (I suppose normal under the circumstances)

Lovely news - Congratulations to your daughter Penny. IT is nice to be accepted at one's first choice Tertiary Education Institute.

Oh Droopy - Thanks for the thought - The rain would be the most welcome sight here. ;)

    ENjoy your day everyone.

Good morning, wonderful Stewbies! A very sunny but freezing morning here on the Norwegian north-west coast. It will warm up, and I've got a new hellebore, double pink. :D

So glad the fires are under control, Palm Tree. I'm off outside now. Stables, PT conference, garden, stables, good night. That's my plan for today. :D

Enjoy the Thursday, may your weather be what you wish for.

Good Thursday morning all. Currently -2°C and sunny. Another lovely day to play in the yard.
I found the most wonderful garden center yesterday, just 35 minutes from home. I bought 25 new strawberry plants and the rest of the seeds for my veggie garden. I WILL be back when it gets a little closer to planting time :D
I had a few early visitors to my yard this morning. Snapped this picture thru the window and over the deck railing. If you look closely there are 6 in the photo. They'd better not come any closer to my gardens :D

Good morning everybody. The weather has been great for the past couple days. I even had to break out the shorts yesterday and wash my truck. So it is pretty much guaranteed to rain here today :D Make a great day!

Good morning! Well, afternoon. We got up early and took our truck for service. It was very foggy. We stopped for some breakfast and went to a couple of yard sales. Tomorrow we will stay home. Rain again next week. It's sunny and 75 now. dooley

    Good morning all.
Got some cleaning to do today, we are being chased away tonight until tomorrow afternoon so Amanda and her girl friends can have one more get together before the end of spring break.

Got a new feature to work on for the front of the house, a flat of red geraniums to pot up and beautiful weather for doing both.
