This a.m. is rainy -- I believe it rained most of the night too so that is good. It looks like rain all next week too but Sat and Sun will be dry! How about that for some gardener's luck? Off to work for me. Good day to all.

Good Friday morning all. Currently 9°C and pouring rain. The rain will continue all day and the winds will pick up later tonight. I'm off to do my Friday errands and shopping so have a great day all.

good morning all! toni just informed me that my link to our snowfall yesterday wasn't working...here, i'll try again...

    http://www.imageuploads.net/ims/pic.php ... o&i=167030

it snowed ALL DAY LONG yesterday, with a nice sunset that melted about 2 of the 4 plus inches of snow!!!

so far today, it's a balmy 34F and foggy...and some of the gardens are showing soil again. they're calling for 60's next week! woohoo! :D

    Good morning all.
A bit warmer today and NO WIND, we had steady winds of 25 mph yesterday with gusts around 40-45.
Playing in the dirt for me today. I have plants to get in the ground, plants to move from backyard to front yard, a new bed around the Butterfly bush to get started....I imagine several worms will be disturbed by me today.

Bunkie, I like your snow picture. Normally I would be the first (and probably only) one to say I wish that was falling on my yard....but I think I have lost that desire for a while, at least until August when I am going to be begging for cooler weather.

Good morning! It was a good one. We went to some yard sales. We didn't buy much though. I found three clay flower pots for a dollar each. I bought a couple of cookbooks for my self. We stopped at the library, too. It's sunny out and no wind like yesterday. dooley

Morning all. We had a nice day yesterday with 12C/54F but the wind was awful so I didn't get much done.

Today we've got fog, 7C/45F and I'm hoping the sun will get rid of this fog so we can be outside in the sun. But stables first. :D

    Enjoy your Saturday, I will.

Good morning everyone it is bright and sunny this morning after rain through the night which suits me fine as I now have fresh rain water for my orchids to enjoy. It is around 8-9c today with the chance of showers. I have been awake most of the night so I think today might be a lazy day though I have to go to the supermarket at some point. Have a great Saturday everyone.

As the immortal Fats Domino once said, or sung actually, "Saturday Mornin' oh Saturday Mornin, all my time has kept goin' away, I got my money and my honey, and I'm goin' to stay to play". And this Saturday I'm "goin' to stay and play". It's goin' to be warm, the sun is goin' to shine, and the snow is goin' to melt, and well, that's as poetic as I'm goin' to get. Good mornin' from Wisconsin's North Woods. ( I'm in a funky of mood this mornin') My word processor went crazy with that one.

Good Saturday morning all. Currently 5°C, rainy and very windy. Looking out the window I see huge puddles all over the yard and notice that my trellis has blown over. The rain seems to be changing to wet snow now. What a nasty day! The perfect kind of day to stay indoors. The long range forecast calls for snow early next week...yuck!
    Have a great day all.

    Good morning all.
Overcast this morning but should be just cloudy to go along with the 80 degrees this afternoon. :'(

Oldest daughter and I are going out for the day. I think we are going to lunch, probably Los Lupes Tex-Mex restaurant and then to Dunn Bros coffee shop to sit and talk, we haven't done that in almost three months.

A very good morning to all at GardenStew. Helped a friend move into a new apartment yesterday, lots of furniture to be moved. The reward was pizza and boy did it taste great after all that lifting :)

    Current temps: 10 deg C / 50 deg F - Overcast

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 3°C and mostly cloudy. We had record amounts of precipitation in the last 2 days...rain Friday and snow yesterday. Luckily the soaked ground stopped any snow from accumulating yesterday. And the gusty winds have FINALLY diminished so I think it's safe to go outside and survey the damage. Have a great day all.
