Good morning all. A typical coastal weather Saturday here. Part clouds, a bit of sun and the occasional shower. 12C/54F already so I hope it will be nice and warm for our Saturday trip. The Easter Bunny's been here and I've got a big egg full of candy. Yay! (What a kid I am at heart.)

We're off to the stables, and later we'll sort some stuff outside. The girls have decided that they've outgrown the sandbox so we'll convert it to a veggie patch for the youngest.

A very good morning / afternoon to one and all at GardenStew. Received a good colour from the sun yesterday, almost a sunburn :) Today is a similarly beautiful day but is it ever windy!

    Current temps: 8 deg C / 46 deg F - Blue Sky

    Have a top Saturday!

Good Saturday morning all. Currently 0°C and sunny. I'm still waiting for the snow to melt, but I was outside edging my garden yesterday working around pockets of snow.
Have a great day all :)

Good morning all. Should be a cool, outdoors day for me.

The wildfires are still burning around us. So far three people have died, 11 race horses, unknown numbers of cattle and all sorts of other wildlife. Two small towns were completely destroyed too.
We are supposed to get widespread, sometimes heavy rain starting late tonight and ending tomorrow afternoon. Everyone is hoping that it puts the fires out because manpower doesn't appear to be enough to do it. They were only able to get water drops from helicopters yesterday because the winds died down enough for them to fly.

Good morning! It's cloudy and cool here this morning. Not too windy though. Rain for tonight and tomorrow. I wonder if I should water my plants to assure it will rain. dooley

    Good morning all.
We did get the rain that was promised, about 1.5 inches in my rain gauge. It has all cleared out now and will be partly sunny and around 70 this afternoon.

Thankfully, it was not the major outbreak of storms as first thought. Randy went to bed early last night expecting to be called out as a weather spotter to report on hail, high winds, heavy rain and possible tornadic activities but that call never came.

A lovely Monday. Still chilly (high 50's F) but bright. Today is my last day of my 4 -day weekend, back to work tomorrow... I wish I could stay home longer! I will be picking up my repaired wheelbarrow wheel, fertilizing some beds and cleaning up under the figs -- the lilly of the valley is up. Have a great day, everyone.
