Good morning and happy Saturday. Tis most chilly outside, but I don't think we had a freeze last night. I didn't deadhead yesterday, so will do that today. Maybe pick up a few more posies for a few bare spaces. Might get some paperwhites for forcing inside and getting in the ground outside for some really early spring/late winter color.

Good morning! Scattered showers of rain and overcast, but pretty mild here - been running about 60, not dropping much at night either. Very nice for wet, rainy walks in the fall leaves.

My grapes have officially given up on looking like golden fall leaves and turned to brown mush with the frost we had at the beginning of the week, but it has been mild enough since that they would still be here otherwise - too bad, as they were quite lovely. Still plenty of color in all the trees. Have a nice weekend!

Good Morning all. Our roof should be finished today. Horray- sick of strangers around. Waiting for hubby to get up. Should I make the dogs bark? One whisper in their ear and they will make like someone has pulled up. Do I dare? 8) It's not MY fault they think they hear something, right?

Good morning all. It has warmed up a bit here, so we may see high 70s today. The deadheading got done yesterday and lots of cutting back, but no mulching. We went to dinner and a local community theatre play last night. Oh dear, the acting. Well, dinner was good, but we're not used to staying out until 11:00p. And so starteth Sunday.

Good aftermorning Stewbies, it's the 6th November :). A dry, mild morning here 12 deg C / 54 deg F. Rain constantly threatens though.

Been pretty busy with PetFighter these days as more and more pets are being submitted so apologies if I'm not around half as much as I'd like. Just hit the 100 pet mark this morning :)

Good Morning/afternoon everyone -- It's a nice morning here. 50 degrees when I walked--a little windy though. Sun is shining but rain is suppose to be coming in this evening sometime. Leaves are starting to fall quickly now. Have a good Monday.

Monday, Monday. Looks like rain out there. I do hope so. Gotta start pounding the keyboard again today. Gotta get a book out by spring.

    Morning all,
In the Good Evening thread last night I mentioned I was listening to the first of possibly three waves of thunderstorms to move over us.
We actually had 6 thunderstorms move across during the night. None of them were very big, they were moving to the northeast pretty quickly so they didn't hang around long either and each one of them woke me up with really loud thunder. But we did get 1.25 inches of rain in the really large rain gauge out back.

Too muddy for yard work today so I am making candles for the upcoming holiday season.

Good Morning. It is WET and windy out there and my horses want me to go out in it to feed them! Flood warnings on all the usual rivers. This weekend I helped Ron finish a drainage job to direct water away from someone's home out to a catch basin in the alley. My job was clean up which consisted of loading all the extra mud into the truck with a shovel. I missed a sheepdog trial because he was behind on the project due to the weather. Only for love I tell you because you could not pay me enough to do that kind of work!
