    Good mornign everyone
Boy we had rain - but it is all cleared up now and almost as if it never rained at all. The soil was so dry that it soaked up all the rain. Thank good ness for that.
I sure am glad the rain stopped when it did. Any more rain could prove to be disastrous. With the fire that raged on Table Mountain the danger of mud- and landslides becomes a reality and many houses at the foot of the mountain would be in a landslide's path.
Out council will be taking preventative measures my adding in gabions before the real rain comes our way.
For now I will just enjoy a little bit of Stew and coffee before taking my four legged children to the vet.
Have a great day everyone. :stew1:

Oh I hate to be a complainer but I had a not-fun weekend with a trip to the emergency vet, not good news there, and a flood in the basement... Now I have to go back to work.... But I was cheered by the goings-on at Garden Stew. We are having a good deal of Spring rain which will be greatly appreciated by the plants. Enjoy the start of the week, all.

    Good morning all
Poor kids having sore throats :(

We had good weather and no rain is expected today. What is even better is that my bulbs that I planted on 25 and 26 APril is already starting to come up. Yeah. Now I cannot wait for spring - Oh no - how silly of me we did not even have winter yet. :D

    Good morning all.
Well, I was going to work in the yard today but it has started raining again. The black clay hasn't really dried enough to do much out there anyway.
I have more strawberry jam to make for my oldest daughters birthday next month, that should keep me busy.

A very good morning / afternoon to all Stewbies. A bit of rainy weather has returned to Malmo but I think we needed it after such a dry spell. The smells evoked by the rain are wondrous!

    Current temps: 12 deg C / 54 deg F - Broken Clouds

    Have a magic Tuesday!

Good morning all, it's been around 8C/46F for the last few days, and we've got a very cold wind blowing too, so little or no gardening for me. I'm just too much of a sissy I guess. I need to go out and fertilize later, and might get some weeds pulled and maybe dig a bit, but that depends on the sun.

And I need to get the plants potted up in that May 17th planter too. Hm, looks like I will be going out in this after all. :D

Enjoy your Wednesday, stay dry and have fun.

Another rainy Spring day. I just heard on the news that we've had 3 inches of rain just recently. Good news since we were heading for drought conditions after the driest Jan, Feb and March on record. My grass is a foot high! Can't wait for the weekend! Stay warm, dry, cool and happy, all.
