When I walked in to the kitchen this morning, guess what I saw? SUN was streaming through the window. Wow! What a nice surprise! Supposed to be in the low 80s (F) and 72% humidity... Wish I could stay home from work on such a pretty day. Have a great day, everyone!

    Good morning all.

No yard work for me today, I should but I have been miserable and sweaty for the last two days and I need a break in the nice cool house today.

Good morning all on this midsummer evening. Tonight is the brightest night of the year, and we're celebrating by lighting huge bonfires for celebration purposes and some small ones to grill sausages, meats, fish and whatever else we feel like grilling.

Temps aren't too bad, 13C/55F, no wind but a bit of rain. I hope it lets up.

Nigths aren't dark here in summer, but I feel a bit sorry when I think about the slow but steady descent of the sun starting tomorrow. Summer's not really started yet for us and we've still got lots of nice days ahead. I hope. :D

    Enjoy the Tuesday all.

Happy Midsummer to all. I know some have already celebrated and some are doing so today, some will be in a few more days.
We can't have bonfires and very few people here even know what midsummer or the summer solstice are.

Today just might be the first of a string of 100 degree days. Mom has another visit with the Orthopedic Doc this morning, hope it stays relatively cool until I get her back to her place.

Good morning! It's the first day of the school holidays and I'm horseless too. I feel a bit funny about it all, but then I feel like this every year. :D

14C/57F now at 09.30 and rising. I'll be outside digging soon. Enjoy your Wednesday, take care.

Good morning all. Just another day in the heat and humidity.....100+ with a feels like temp of around 105

Grandsons are coming over for the day. They want to earn some money this summer so the oldest one will be painting the fence panels, the Tom Sawyer trick didn't work on him so I have to pay him in real money  and the youngest will be helping me spread mulch. I don't expect any of us will still be out there past about 10 this morning tho, that's when the sun starts hitting the front yard and making life in the garden miserable.

Good morning, another lovely summer day here. We've got 18C/64F now at 09.30 so this will be a hot one eventually. :D

We're off to the beach shortly. The girls want to test the sea temps and look for crabs and such. I'll tag along, but I'm not going in. :D

    Enjoy the Thursday.

    Good morning everyone,

Its another hot one today, 90's again.

I have some errands to do today and grocery shopping, kind of tired too, my oldest went to Toronto last night to see Transformers at the IMAX theatre, and it started at 11:50pm, and didnt get in until 4:30, so i wasnt really sleeping, but they made good time considering Toronto is 2 hours south of us.
Tomorrow is my youngest daughters High School Graduation too.

    Have a grea day everyone.
