    Good Saturday morning all. Currently 14°C with some cloud and a brisk north west wind. I sure hope there is no rain in the forecast today! I managed to get the grass cut yesterday and I hope to get the weeding and deadheading done today. I heard the garden center is having a sale ~ up to 60% off ~ so you KNOW I'll be stopping there!!

    Good July 4th everyone, even those who don't celebrate it as a national holiday, everyone can celebrate it as a day to garden ;)

    No gardening here tho, it is to reach 103 today with a heat index of 109.

    My youngest is in California attending the Anime Expo in Los Angeles....their hotel is right across the street from the location where Michael Jackson's funeral is being held today. Thousands of costumed Anime Expo attendees plus thousands of costumed funeral attendees should make for a massive traffic and people jam today.

    Its sunny here and a little bit warmer, not like it was yesturday~~!

    Have some watering to do, and laundry is on as we speak.
    Waiting to watch the mens Wimbledon final today, should be good!!

    Good Sunday morning all. Currently just 13°C, but the sun is shining and there is no wind. I hope to get some work done in the gardens today if the weather co-operates. I'm thinking about starting a new project :)

    Good morning all. Woke up to a light rain, I do mean light as we will be lucky to get 1/4th inch out of it. Unless that big red/yellow blob of heavy rain on the weather radar that is now way out west between Abilene and Midland stays together and gets here later, then we could have more.

    Randy is building me a trapizoid shaped raised rose bed this morning. Pictures will be posted after I move the roses into it either later today or tomorrow.
    And I am hoping to get black plastic and mulch put down for the herb bed floor inside the fence panels we put up last week. Pictures of that later too.

    Its cooler here and supposed to have thunder storms later today.

    But we did get all the lawn cut and trimmed, so let it rain now.

    Good Monday morning all. Currently just 11°C ~ where did summer go? We had almost a whole week of rain last week so I had hoped this week would be different...no, there is rain forecast for today and tomorrow.
    We are off to the big city today for an appointment and then off to the mall. I should be good and tired by the time we get home!

    Good Morning. It is 83 and sunny. Also humid as we had rain again yesterday. It is to stay sunny and in the low 90's the rest of the week. I am not going to be out and about to much. Have a good day. Wannabe

    Good morning all. Day #2 of a two day cool down here so I have been out working in the yard. Yesterday was the front and today I cleaned out some plants gone wild in the backyard. Tomorrow the 100+ temps return.

    Now I am cleaned up and ready to take care of inside cleaning....not that I really want to, I clean only to keep two steps ahead of the health department but recently I think I have been hearing footsteps outside so I guess I had better do some today.

    Good morning all. Back to the triple digit temps starting today and lasting for at least the next 7 days. At least a couple of days of lower temps in the early morning have given me back my desire to continue to garden, but the next bout of extreme heat will take that away again.

    I am going to a garden center this morning, my fenced herb bed is almost complete and I will need plants to put in it and I am itching to buy new plants :rolleyes:

    A very good morning / afternoon to one and all at GardenStew. The temperatures here have cooled somewhat after the dizzying heights of last week's heat. Also there is some rain to boot, feels more like an autumn's day to be honest.

    Current temperatures: 15 deg C / 59 deg F
