Nice day but we are into the days where watering is a daily thing if it doesn't rain. So in just a few minutes, I'll water before I go on to work for the day.

Morning all. The weather people are saying that we only have two days of 100+ temps left for now. I wish I could hold them to that but Mother Nature does have something to say about the situation so she might not be finished with us. 103 yesterday, close to the same today.

Taking Mom to the knee surgeon today to schedule her knee replacement surgery, then to my oldest daughter's new home for lunch and hopefully have Mom back to her apartment and me home before the hottest part of the day hits.

Gooood afternoon to one and all. The weather has returned to its good form here, it's actually pretty warm. A little bit of a breeze too which I like very much.

    Current temperatures: 26 deg C / 79 deg F

    Have a brilliant Wednesday!

Beautiful beautiful morning... we have been more than fortunate this month -- the cool temps and low humidity has been holding so far. Very unusual, but I'm not complaining. Starting to creep up over the next two days, the weather caster says. No rain... watering every morning before work and sometimes again in the evening.

Good morning! Still hot today but maybe rain in the next few days. Haven't had any rain for a couple of months here.
Daisybeans, weren't you the one getting several inches at a time this spring?

Good morning all. Today is supposed to be the last 100+ day for us for a week or so, we may even have a morning or two starting out in the low 70's and only going up to the mid-90's in the afternoons. And just a slight chance of rain....none on my yard in 5 weeks and counting.

With the hopes of cooler weather coming I went plant shopping this morning

Good morning all. Yes daisybeans, the weather fever does appear to have broken or at least is beginning to break. Today is to be around 96 with each day for the next 5 being a little cooler than the day before. The most exciting part for me is that the mornings will start out in the lower 70's instead of the mid-80's of the last several days. And I will be able to get out in the yard. And my plants won't be having all their moisture sucked out of them by the excessive heat.
Of course we still have approximately 8 weeks of summer weather to put up with so there are 50+ more chances for 100+ temps again.

East Texas is getting some rain this morning, Gaylyn, Dooley and Glendann should be enjoying some of that but my yard is still high and dry.

Yes! It rained for about five hours and it's still cool. Feels almost cold after the heat we've been having. I hope the rain comes again as it's in the forecast for the next five days. We'll take all we can get. Brown and crunchy has been the norm for a while now. Brian told me he looked at the garden and it's grown 6 inches. LOL. dooley
