Good almost no longer morning all.
We got a whoppin' 1/8 inch of rain earlier this morning. All those storms around and hitting various other parts of the state and that is all my yard gets.
Way to muggy out for gardening so I will dig out the DVD's of Firefly or the Serenity movie and knit all afternoon.

    Good morning everyone,

Its warm here today, high of 88, but its supposed to rain, and thats fine, we do need it.

I might go out and cut the grass in awhile, so thats done.

Muggy and overcast, cooler than average yesterday (low 80s) but creeping up again today to 86, which is closer to normal. Only trace amounts of rain in the past 3 weeks.

Texas folks --- here is one good thing... when it's mid winter (or early Spring for some...) and we're all looking at the snow and dreaming of dirt, you guys will be giving us pics of your amaryllis!

Good morning all. Well that promised little respite from the heat never materialized for me. And 1/8th inch of rain in last 6 weeks just means the drought is still on. Thankfully the early morning temps are in the low 70's now like they are supposed to be and I can spend an hour or two out in the yard trying to keep caught up.

Daisybeans, this Texan would much rather be looking at snow during the winter than Amaryllis any year.:stew1:

It's cloudy and wet here, Toni! It rained off and on all night. I don't know how much we got, I don't have a rain gauge. But, it's wet and I like that. It's cloudy and gray, too. Maybe a 50 percent chance of rain today. dooley

Yay! Raining this morning! We need it and now I won't have to water my neighbor's GIGANTIC veggie garden (he's away for a week). Not that I mind. It's a blessing to have such nice neighbors as I do.

I am prepping for a really important job interview tomorrow so keep your fingers crossed for me!!!!

Penny -- I think the Elvis Festival sounds like a HOOT!!! Have fun.

Good morning all. Heating up around here yet again...surprised?...not really.

Did something to my left knee yesterday and it is really sore, think I will baby it by sitting and reading today. Haven't had a reading day in weeks.

Maritine inshore flow still keeping the mornings cool and breezy. Means less watering :) Going to fix my sweetie an ice cream cake for his B-Day today, so have to get hopping and not limping LOL.
