Good Saturday morning all. Currently 20°C and mostly cloudy. Today is my daughters 6th birthday party and I will have a house full of giggling little girls. It should be a lot of fun.
Have a great day all :)

Gaylyn and Jewell -- thanks for the luck. I made it to the next round, whew. Won't be for a few weeks.

Your daughter's bd party sounds fun, Netty. Little girls are a hoot. (Little boys too).

I've got to mow and weed today. Also some regrading of one corner of a bed... It's the dull days of summer, things looking tired.

Good morning all. Supposed to hit the triple digits again today, just a one time shot then back down into the 90's with a chance of rain. I don't mind the once in a while 100 degree day but that string of 9 days in a row took out a lot of my plants :(

Once I get some watering done out front, have to be finished by 10 a.m. because of water restrictions, then I am inside for the day.

Going to Rod Stewart concert tomorrow night :stew1: :stew2:

As I was coming home from errands yesterday evening, a big storm warning was issued with 60 mph winds predicted for my area. Do I rushed home to make sure my veggies were all tied up/down securely and small pots and chairs were moved to sheltered spots. All of that prep, of course, guaranteed that the storm was not so bad :-D ! Got hard rain and wind but everything seems OK. Lost power from about 7:45 pm till 3 am. Too hot to sleep well. Of course at 3 am I woke to all the lights that had been on glaring at me!

Nice morning, currently 60 F. and to reach 90 F. Alert for fire danger because of lack of precipitation. Gotta love the warmth :) if I don't melt.

Good morning! It's cloudy here this morning and wet. We had a big rain yesterday so it can skip today. There was a lot of damage in town but Glenda and I are okay. No damage here, it went past us over by the highway. Going out and about today. dooley

Good Morning from Wisconsin's great North Woods. It's bright and sunny with patchy clouds, and a slight breeze. it's about 70 this morning, and may well be the warmest day of the week. It's also bright and sunny inside today, as oour kids and grand kids are here for the week, and that's enough to make the sun shine inside.

Good morning all. I am Singing In The Rain, just singing in the rain, what a wonderful feeling I'm happy again. Got a smile on my face.....oh, well you don't want to hear me sing but we are getting RAIN!!

Closing in on 3/4ths inch (1.9 centimeters) and still coming down. First rain my yard has had in 7 weeks, since June 10th to be exact. With rain and lightening my plants should be putting on a growth spurt big time over the next few days.

    Good morning everyone,

Its another overcast day here, but warm, supposed to reach 91 with humidity, and rain later, but all my veggies are loving it.

I got the grass cut yesturday and did some cleaning, mopped the floors today and waiting for them to dry, so i can vaccum, i did some paint touch ups in the bathroom lastnight, so i can take that off my list.

Good afternoon. A wet Norwegian summer's day, with 16C/61F outside. Just as well, I've got all the holiday stuff to clear away.

    Have a lovely Tuesday.
