My guy and I lived 700 miles apart, it was just getting too hard. Wed been together for 1.5 years and every time I went to visit and had to leave, my heart got broken all over again and finally I just couldnt handle it anymore. Plus my car decided to break down and I cant afford a new one yet so I had no idea when Id be able to see him again, and he doesnt have a car (also cant afford one) so he couldnt come visit ever...

Even more reason to hope you have a very good time on the date, getting out will help you get passed this rough time.

Good Saturday morning all. Currently just 9°C but sunny. We will have a busy day today...off to get our haircuts this morning and then off to a neighboring town for their summer Fair. These summer fair's have a way of sucking the money right out of ones wallet
Have a great day all :)

As the darkness of the night gradually gave way to the morning light, it became increasingly obvious that last nights rain was the prelude to the dreary wet morning that is starting this day. The sky is one uniform mass of gray. The trees are still, and the air is heavy with humidity. The seagulls, that have arrived, to state their advance warning of the approaching fall season, are about the only movement I can see out my window. The same swarm of gnats that has been there since May, is still very busily doing nothing out over the driveway. It's a good morning to sit out on the pier and enjoy the quiet beauty of this new day. Take a moment to find the beauty in this morning where ever you are, and what ever your morning is bringing to you. It will bring you a better day.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 18°C and overcast. It looks like we had a tiny bit of rain last night. Weatherman is calling for a hot and humid day today, so I think after my chores are done I may hang out by the pool :)
    Have a great day all.

I am having a fantastic time on my "stay-cation" but may need another break to recover! It's another lovely sunny day. I believe we are about to get a heat wave for the next few days but that is what August is all about here.

Sorry you have reason to pout Toni...

Yesterday was the first day of measurable rain for the Puget Sound Region since May 12th. Very long dry spell for the lowlands of this temperate rain forest. Actual rain this morning and had to get out the umbrella and go out with the dogs this AM. They are both sure they will melt. It feels great to have "normal" summer weather back. I will now start worrying about the usual mildew, rot and rust that usually accompanies summer gardening.

Good morning all. Hot, muggy, miserable weather here lately. Temps have stayed below the 100deg mark, except for today that is, but when it's 99 deg with a heat index of 107 there is no question about it being hot.
