The Good Day All Thread

Good morning everyone,

Its another hot one here today, they just said 97 degrees with the humidity!!

It also looks like its going to rain, so i'll hold off on watering and see if it does.

Not much planned today, other then LOTS of laundry, my youngest came back from a weekend of camping and of course everything needs it, and what isnt dirty, smells like campfire smoke.

Good morning all.
Temps heading up,up,up and the humidity too.
I haven't worked much in the garden for several weeks now. The mimosas are taking over a couple of beds. This weekend I'm going to dig the beds up completely, remove the mimosas and replant the beds. Big messy job.

 

I went to the Dr. this morning for a 6 month check. Cholesterol is 81, the bad stuff is 24. Blood pressure is low, and the prostate test is below 3. A big sigh of relief, and I guess I'm good for another 6 months.

Its a little cooler here today, only supposed to be 90.

 

Another hot day in the City for me... wow, it's hot with all that concrete around. East Coast is hot hot hot. I'm off Thursday and Friday to do garden work so that will be nice.

Its going to be cooler today, only around 85 and a breeze, so that works for me.

 

We had some rain last night, a pretty good amount, it looks like. It's muggy! My yard looks like a jungle. This is definately the least attractive part of the season.

 

Good afternoon all. A sunny day here, for a change. It's been so wet, with a bit of flooding here and there, but nothing catastrophic, fortunately.

I've been training a lot and will continue to do so for a few more days. After that I'll relax a bit. I miss hanging about on the Stew but it can't be helped.

Started working on the front ivy hedges. Getting them trimmed up tight so will look bare for a few weeks. Supposed to be 90 F here.
