The North Woods, at least our little corner there of, are being rained upon this morning. The skies are gray, and the trees are standing motionless, except for the occasional leaf, which gives a little shudder when hit by a falling rain drop. As I sit here and watch, I am amazed to see that persistent little swarm of gnats that have been very busily doing nothing, in that same general spot most all summer. They must be born, eat, live, reproduce, and die all in that little swarm.

Good morning! We went to the farmer's market but just got all of our stuff set up and it started raining. We packed up and came home. Not sure what to do with the rest of the day. The rain has stopped. dooley

Good morning all. No rain here or cooler temps yet either.
I did spend some time pulling up dozens of Blue and Black Salvia our back, they are way too invasive to keep around any longer.
Rest of the day will be spent inside with the AC, I have more blueberry jelly to make and a batch of sweet pickles to get started.

    Good morning everyone,

I'm having my coffee before i start anything, yesturday was a big cleaning day for me, so the list isnt as long.
I hope to get out and work in the gardens, and do some weeding, its been cold here at night and some of my plants are looking pretty bad, so i might take them out.
I got my daughter all settled at school, so thats a relief.

    Have a great day everyone,

Western Washington is going to be warm (for us) too today bunkie. High 80's. Am working on a new flower/strawberry bed today. We'll be eating lots of acorn squash soon and through the winter. They have taken over the patio. :p

Good morning all. Our temp has started out just under 70 deg this morning, I know we will reach into the 90's this afternoon it is still summer afterall. But I have quit looking at the forecast high, as long as the morning is under 75 deg that means I have a couple of hours in the garden to enjoy.

But since I take Mom to the eye doctor early this afternoon, my gardening time will be painting a fence panel instead of digging in the dirt.
